With an LG 5811 diswasher, when the IE error code is not caused by kinked hot water hose or blocked screen, the next step is to measure the electric resistance of the Inlet Valve. (950-1300 ohms)

1E code display. Checked water pressure, changed inlet valve and float. Still 1E code

You need to check the voltage on the inlet valve coil terminals to see whether the main control board is actually switching the valve on to take in water.
If not replace the main control board PCB as this is the only other problem remaining.

Gets a 1E code. already checked water is on

Hi shadyron11,

The IE error you are seeing means Inlet Error, this shows because your dishwasher is not getting enough water through in a specific time frame - Please check the following:

- Is the Inlet hose kinked in any way? (This could lead to low water pressure to the solenoid) Straighten it.
- Is the Inlet hose filter (Found when unscrewing the hose form the inlet on the machine) dirty? Clean it.
- Is the tap completely open? (Low pressure)
- Has your home gone under any plumbing alterations? (This could have also caused low water pressure - Too little water)

If all of these come back OK, and it still gives the same problem, I'd suggest replacing the inlet valve (Found on the opposite side of the inlet pipe - inside your Dishwasher), could also be a pressure switch (Found at the bottom of your Dishwasher - accessible from the bottom).

This should solve any problems.

Kind Regards :-)

Does not fill with water e1 code

1E means - Water inlet problem >Condition : Not reached to the normal water level in spite of 10 minute water supply

Water supply problem. The inlet hose is kinked. The water pressure is to low (10psi) Inlet valve. The inlet water valve filter is clogged. The hall sensor. The impeller of Air guide is bound. Remedy : Check resistance of inlet valve ( 950-1300ohms) Clean valve. Check pressure. Replace the Air braker.

What does the trouble code "IE" mean

IE Error = Water Inlet Trouble - Check water inlet and outlet hoses for cracks, kinks, sponyness, and check the water supply.

The Water Supply Tap is closed. The Water Supply is shut off. The Inlet Hose is kinked. The Water Pressure is very low. (below 10 psi) Inlet Valve is OK? The filter of Inlet Valve is clogged by impure water. The Hall sensor is OK? The Impeller of Air Guide is bound
Measure the electric resistance of Inlet Valve. (950-1300 ) Clean the filter of Inlet Valve. Check the frequency of Inlet Water by the Test Mode. Replace the Air Braker.

Trouble code LE

I believe that your error code is "IE". If so,its relates to water input problem Check first the filters on the inlet water line (both sides). Then, if problem still exist - check that the inlet water valve works(it is an electromagnet valve, located at the pipe's entrance to the machine)). If it doesn't work, test that it get power. In case it get power and doesn't work - You should replace it. Be aware you should disconnect the power cable from machine before doing it !!!! Good luck
