You need the rubbers under it keeping it in place?

Yes- I need the rubber pieces replaced and they are not for sale without the bowls.  I was trying to think of something I could use to replace them.  Any ideas??

I have the same problem, I need to replace the rubber rings that are on the bottom of the stainless non-tip dog bowls. My bowls measurt 10" in diameter across the bottom of the dog bowl.

I had the same problem and will be making the replacement rubber rings for pet food dishes - available in approx. 2 months. I will be offering replacement rings for 6" diameter steel bowls at first, but will move into the larger sizes soon thereafter.

I've been looking for 6" replacement rings for stainless cat dishes, but found identical dishes including the rings at a dollar store. They don't solve the problem of not being wasteful with the dishes, but the price is far better than any of the rings I've found that are sold separately, including online.

What is the best way to sanitize my dogs bowl?

Sanitizing a dog bowl is quite simple. I recommend following these easy instructions:

Scrape off any excess food and rinse the bowl with dish soap and a sponge.

2. Rinse off and repeat step 1 if there are any leftover food particles.

3. Scrub the bowl with a fine steel wool pad and a mild cleanser.

4. Using a heavy steel wool pad you should apply more cleanser and scrub thoroughly.

5. Lastly, give the bowl one last scrubbing with a fine steel wool pad and then dry the bowl with some paper towel.

What are food-dispensing dog toys?

Well, first you need to know that there are varying types of food-dispensing toys. There are "kongs"; which is a snowman shaped rubber toys that come stuffed with an assortment of treats; "buster cubes" which come in two sizes (for both small and large dogs). These are small plastic cubes with several internal compartments containing kibble. There is also a toy called the "tug-a-jug" which is a clear plastic bottle shaped toy with small holes in the bottom and a rubber rope strung through the top. As your dog pushes the bottle around the rope too rolls, thus releasing kibble from inside.

My dog has a plastic dog bowl and I find that the water in it goes a funny color

Plastic dog bowls are quite cheap however I wouldn't recommend using them. Plastic absorbs toxins and this could cause health problems for your dog. Also dogs are natural chewers and they will more than likely chew a plastic bowl when left to their own devises. I would invest a bit more money on a metal dish, they are clean, long lasting, indestructible and safe.
