I have this EXACT SAME problem with my Insignia 26" LCD TV. I was three weeks out of warranty when it happened and Insignia wouldn't do anything to help me. I brought it to three repair shops and each repairman said that they couldn't guarantee they could fix it even IF they got the right parts. Anyhow, the TV repairman had it for three months (getting parts shipped from Asia, repair time, etc.) and he couldn't fix it. He also told me that tons of other people have the issue and that Insignia is replacing their TVs under warranty. So, if your TV is still under warranty, call Insignia. You just have to pay for shipping and shipping insurance. Hope this helps!

It's all in your menue set up and you need to call or go online to the company for the solution, using your remote to reprogram it correctly. You need to set it differently than cable...I "think" you have it set twice and it basicly doesn't know what to do. It may be seeing it as directly to TV and so the Cable setting would be the wrong setting.

yeah i tried that there is a CCD button which controls the CC but it is turned off...also in the menu/setup it is turned off...

Unplug the TV, let it sit for a few minutes, then plug t i again. That should reset it. If not, you'll probably have to order the remote from the company to turn it iff.

the problem lies in themain board in the tv. you can buy one from ebay for around $80 used. its not to bad to replace either. just remove the back panel the main board it the tin/ metal wit hthe ciruit board in it on the left side same side as the power botton just unplug the 5-7 wires and unscrew the 2-3 screws and carfully side that board out and replace with a new workign one and put back together and you should be good to go.
please rate my answer it is much apreceated
