If motor and fan are locked up they can't be fixed. Simply take vacuum apart step by step until you have removed motor and fan. The part numbers should be on the motor and fan. You should be able to google the part numbers and order replacement parts
One of the common problems in air conditioners is fan motor bearings going bad and the fan motor shaft is locked up stalling the motor or preventing rotation. Another cause of fan motors not running could be the motor start capacitor. The capacitor is needed to give the motor a jump start to get it rotating. If you can get access to the fan squirrel cage and can spin the fan ok, the motor bearings are then good. Most likely the problem then is a bad motor start capacitor that can be replaced. In very rare cases the motor winding itself could be bad and the fan motor will need replacement. regards, Dennis
check the plug that connects to the fan motor for bad or corroded contacts. then you can run separate jumper wires from the battery to the rad cooling fan motor if the fan doesn`t run then replace the fan motor. if it runs then it could be the coolant fan relay, coolant fan sensor in the motor, PCM, or a wiring problem of some sort but fan motors are common.
C9- Out door fan motor mechanism locked, less rpm or no power to Fan.motor. If mechanism locked, replaced bearing or f.motor./less rpm-replace capacitor./ nopower fan-motor, out door PCB problem -Replace it. Hope helpful?
Usually caused by aging rubber fan motor mounts, worn fan motor bearings, the fan blade assembly slipping on the fan motor shaft, or a warped chassis. You can replace or eliminate rubber fan mounts cheaply. A slipped fan blade tends to need a simple position adjustment and tightening or replacement of the lock screw. Worn fan motor bearing or warped chassis are not so cheap to remedy, and since it's a lot easier and quicker to grind down the fan shroud until they no longer make contact, that's the route I tend to take.
The fan blade can be removed from the shaft. You just need to pop the lock washer off and pry the fan blade. You most likely will not be able to remove the fan blade without damaging the blade. You can buy the replacement fan blades online. The part number is 5901A000. Here is a blog on the entire replacement motor assembly. http://nutoneproducts.typepad.com/nutone-products/2009/08/nutone-0695b000-replacement-bath-fan-motor-for-model-qt80.html
