You are trying to run a 64bit application on a 32bit operating system. It wont work. You need to get the 32bit version of the snes emulator you are trying to use. They should have one on the site you got the 64bit version from.

Try to install in safe mode if possible. Download from the net in normal mode, go into safe mode and install, tell it to perform full scan. If you can't install, your OS seems too bad to fix. Backup data!

Hi I am Farah, and as I wanted to download java , it came thet" " is not valid win 32 application'. What shoudl I do? Thx

It is possible that you are attempting to install a 64-bit version of Java when you have a 32-bit operating system. Check your operating and confirm this. In Vista you can find this using Start > Control Panel > System. This is similar if you have Windows 7. Here is what it looks like:

pcjanitor.jpg
If after that you, you follow these instructions from Sun (Java) to locate and install the 32-bit version.

Error: x64.exe not a valid Win32 application This article applies to:
  • Platform(s): Windows 7, Vista, Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows 2003
  • Browser(s): Internet Explorer, Firefox, Mozilla 1.4+
  • Java version(s): 6.0
SYMPTOMS

While trying to install Java a user gets an error message similar to:
' ... x64.exe not a valid Win32 application'

CAUSE

The error message is a result of trying to install a 64-bit version of Java on a 32-bit operating system.
SOLUTION

User needs to install a 32-bit version of Java software, since a 64-bit version is not compatible with their 32-bit operating system.

Follow these steps to download 32-bit Java
  1. Go to Manual download
  2. Click Windows XP/Vista/2000/2003/2008 Online.
  3. The File Download dialog box appears.
  4. Choose the folder location.
  5. (Save the file to a known location on your computer, for example, to your desktop).
  6. Click Save.
  7. Close all applications including the browser.
  8. Double-click on the saved file icon to start the installation process.

How to play nintendo games on computer?

Open up the emulator and after it loads up then click the "file" and then "load rom" It might not be exactly like that but all of them are the same...A good place for roms and emulators is romnation.net...When you download ROMS, make a new floder on your desktop so you can easily access and see you downloaded games...I recommend the Snes9x v1.41-1 emulator...here is the link: http://www.romnation.net/srv/emulators/3/snes/Snes9x-v1-41-1-for-Windows.html
