Coolant level light appears on dash of falcon. has not been using water

By saying it has not been using water I suppose you mean that the water is still in the reservoir. Unfortunately if you have a leak in the cooling system the water will run out and when the engine cools down the water will not be drawn from the reservoir to replace it.. For the light to come on the top tank of the radiator will be low and it is time to have a pressure test done on the cooling system to check for In the mean time check the radiator water level by removing the cap and having a look and do not rely on the water level in the reservoir.

Was wondering if the washer is supposed to fill to certain level at wash cycle?

Yes. On top loading machines, it is very easy to see. On front loading machines, not so easy to tell. Front load machines fill to a very low level, (which is why you should only use 1 to 2 tablespoons of HE soap with them) then when they begin to tumble (wash motion) the clothes absorb water, causing the water level to drop, resulting in the fill of additional water until the original water level is acheived again. This process generally takes several times to get all the clothes saturated and the water level to stabilize. Additionally, water valves may cycle on and off several times as the machine adjusts the water temperature, even if you were running an empty washer through a cycle. Gentle cycles will use more water, as more water = less abrasive scrubbing action. Normally, using front loading machines, you will not see much if any water through the door window.

I have a lg wd12650tp and when doing a wash it stops and the letters IE come up could you tell me what this could mean. thank you.

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Error IE water inlet error which occurs when correct water level (246) is not reached within 8 minutes after water is supplied or it does not reach the preset water level within 25 minutes. Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks

Bosch logixx code f-23 .wat does it mean?

it means the float at the base of the machine has been triggered. Open the back panel on the machine (turn off power and water tap first) then remove all screws and take metallic back off. Dry inside base with a towel and push down the float which is located in the corner. This will reset it. Keep an eye on it as it may mean you have a leak.

Need less water to the icemaker when it fills ice maker it uses to much water

Hi: I don't know how much you mean by to much water, but that model uses a simple ice maker. If it's just a little water over flowing; Put a level on it and make sure the ref and ice maker are sitting level. If too far out of level the ice maker will leak water. Try this before calling service. I hope this helps, Jeff

1999 VW Bug Service engine Light

When you say water light comes on, do you mean coolant level, or coolant temp or ? Check coolant level and top off if needed. Bring the Beetle to a parts store, most offer free check of check eng. light. They will plug a hand held scan tool into the cars diagnostic port (usually located under the dash) and 'read' stored engine codes in the cars computer. They can tell you what the codes mean, and suggest what to do. If you have further questions, post them here along with the code numbers.

Our washing machine overflows when it is filling with water in the small load cycle.

Check these:
Water-inlet valve A defect in the water-inlet valve may mean that it's no longer able to shut off completely when the electricity has been turned off to it. If this occurs, the valve may leak and drip water into the clothes tub. In time, the water may accumulate substantially. If this happens, you need to replace the valve.

Water-level switch A defect--or an obstruction--in the water-level switch may mean that it can't tell the water to shut off. So the machine overflows. This switch senses the water level in the clothes tub. It's usually a diaphragm device with a small, clear tube attached between the switch and the bottom of the washer's outer tub. As the water level in the tub increases, the pressure on the air in the tube increases. When the pressure reaches a certain level, it activates the switch, shuts off the water, and signals the timer to begin the agitate cycle. You can either clear any obstruction in the tube or replace the water-level switch. Hope that helps! Should you have any further questions, please feel free to post them here.

P.S. – I would greatly appreciate a FixYa! rating if the solution I provided fixed or helped you fix your problem.

Thank you for using FIXYA!

Cheers!
