Is the problem not printing received faxes and cannot send faxes? Did this problem start suddenly? Has it ever worked?
My first suspicion is the drivers for the fax portion of your device. Do you have the Kyocera diagnostics for your device? That would tell you quickly. If you can print from the PC, Scan to the printer that would isolate the problem to the fax portion.
In that case, check all the wires from the phone jack on the wall to the fax and any output lines from the fax to the wall. Are they in good repair? Is your phone line connected? Do you have dial tone on that phone line? The other place to check is the phone line input/output jacks on the back. Are they switched? The normal connection is from the phone jack on the was to the input jack on the device. Then from the output jack on the device to the telephone.
You may need to prevent your received faxes from being accessed by unauthorized people. You can turn on secure receiving mode to restrict printing of received faxes when the machine is unattended. In secure receiving mode, all incoming faxes go into memory. When the mode is deactivated, any stored faxes are printed.
Press (Fax) on the control panel.
Press Menu until Advanced Fax appear.
Press the left/right arrow until Secure Receive appear and press OK.
Press the left/right arrow until On appear and press OK.
Enter a four-digit password you want to use and press OK.
You can activate secure receiving mode without setting a password, but cannot protect your faxes.
Re-enter the password to confirm it and press OK.
Press Stop/Clear to return to ready mode.
When a fax is received in secure receiving mode, your machine stores it in memory and shows Secure Receive to let you know that there is a fax received.

If you need printed confirmation that your faxes were successfully sent, follow these instructions to enable fax confirmation before sending any faxes. Select either On Fax Send or Send & Receive.
The default fax confirmation setting is Off. This means that the HP All-in-One will not print a confirmation report for each fax sent or received. A confirmation message indicating whether a fax was successfully sent appears briefly on the display after each transaction.
