Projector turns on then shuts off after a few seconds

This is a common issue with these. When the bulb fails it can put added stress on the power supply and cause parts in the supply to fail. They are not meant to be serviced by the end user. I would check to see if you can locate a parts source for the power supply.

sounds like it is overheating -- are the fans installed pointing the correct direction, all spinning up well?

That is a problem with the lamp. Replace it with a known good one.

look at your lamp carefully to see if you see bubbles in the mirror or anything like that. if so then your power supply/ballast is bad.

have you check the filter?

if none of the keypad keys work, it might be in lockout. if they do, the projector may need to cool down before it shuts down so the bulb won't retain the heat and cause damage. could also be button failure (or if the buttons are rubber, the contact underneath may be worn or dirty thereby causing no contact).

The Projector will turn off after so many hours of running the same bulb module. The counter will turn on a replace bulb LED. Installing the new bulb module should reset the counter and turn off the LED.

Check the projector’s lamp to ensure that it is securely connected
in the lamp module. Make sure by removing it and reinserting it.

Check the cables for problems.

When testing, power up in this order. Projector, Computer monitor, Computer.

A minor power surge may cause the lamp to shut off. Turn the
projector off, wait at least 30 seconds, then turn it back on.
