I ran all 4 jets to clean, then drained the tub, filled with cold water, pushed the power button and I could hear the motor but jets would not work. I waited a couple of hours, and still nothing. Tried next day and still nothing. Filling with cold water was to rinse the cleaning solution. It has worked in the past but now is not. #3 of the 6 jets do not blow air, and furthermore, the air intake on that side actually drips water out. Can this be due to uneven pressure from one side to the other? The hose from the pump is much longer (3 feet) on the problem side of the tub. #3 of the 6 jets do not blow air, and furthermore, the air intake on that side actually drips water out. 2 on the same side of my 6 jet whirlpool tub are not working. I tried turning them clockwise to open them like the aquaglass website suggested, but they are still not pumping.2 on the same side of my 6 jet whirlpool tub are not working. Probably control panel or if there are separate pumps for each side, that side's pump probably doesn't have a relay working with bad switch from the control panel.
In my case I took the motor out and used a screw driver to turn the impeller in the front of the pump and the fins inthe back. Put it back together and it worked. I then used 2 tablesoons of dishwashing detergent and 1/2 cup bleach and ran it for 20 minutes to clean and degrease the impellers
once a jet face has fallen out of a hot tub that means the insert has failed and is broken. you will need to locate a new jet insert. Jet inserts have little tabs on them that hold them in place and when they get worn out the jet face will fall out into the tub.
The bath heater you have is not designed to HEAT water - they only Maintain what you start with. You need to start the bathtub with the hot water you want. It will only heat about 1-2 degrees an hour.
check the face of the jet trim to make sure it is turned on. most jets today turn clockwise and counter clockwise to turn the water on/off on each jet.
I would expect there is a Jacuzzi dealer in your town and I would guess he has parts. If you purchase parts locally, not only are you helping your neighbor but also, you will have the opportunity to pick his brain on tips to install.
