My Maytag front loading washer does not fully rinse cloths MAH8700A. I purchased this washer about 6 months ago. I usually wash small loads but have noticed it doesnt matter what size load. When first purchased I started using regular laundary detergent (granular) about 1/2 cup measure per load. I am now using about a teaspoon full. I have also tried Tide HE liquid detergent about 1/2 cup mneasure per load. Then adjusted down to 1/2 teaspoon full same as granular. Living in the rural area my water pressure is not like pressure of living in town. I do want to say that at the end of the washer cycle there is no trace of soap (spin cycle works great to hide the soap) but if you watch the washer when at 10 minutes left (rinse cycle) you can see soap. I have also rewashed items several times without adding any soap (by several I mean up to 10 times). I have also washed loads in the cold/cold setting to remove soap several times (usually take up to 6 times).

Got the same problem. I have an extended warranty, so will have it serviced. I think it all happened when my son washed his paint ball outfit, and the knee pads were flaking loose... maybe plugged the pump inlet.

Model# WM1832CW will fill with water on a hand wash load count down the minutes but will not spin the drum. At the rinse cycle LE code comes up. I put a cup of bleach in the wash tray (this usually works) but did not work this time. Help!!!!

A friend had this problem and was ready to buy a new machine. Sometimes it worked and sometimes not. I took a last look before new machine and found a coin that would intermittently block the pump/discharge port on the machine.

Is the drain path free-flowing? That is, does the water eject freely during spin/rinse? Maybe there's a restriction in the line, or it's too high above the washer.

Maytag top load washing machine repair

Hello,

It sounds like your Maytag (now owned by Whirlpool) Actuator needs to be replaced. Last year our Maytag Centennial top loading washer Model MVWC300XW0 would not drain all the water and cloths would be soaking still. Doing some online research, I came across some very helpful video regarding replacing your Actuator.

The only thing I would recommend to future installers is get your Technician Manual located just inside the case (front panel) first of your Washer. The Technician Manual is taped inside your washer in a plastic bag. Once you replace this Actuator part, I recommend that you run the Calibration cycle on your washer. It is needed anytime you replace a motor, motherboard or pump.

Here are two videos describing how to change/replace the Actuator but these videos are basically for the MVWC300XW0 model. I'm sure if you search for your model, there will be other videos as well.

Two videos on how to replace your Actuator:
1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YVjTY-Hj4jw
2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yTHryoT78pA (This is video that I viewed the most)

Best of Luck!

Is there any kind of recall on a Maytay front loading washer, model #MAH6500AWW? I am having problems with mildew in the rubber part and terrible smelling water in the bottom.

The cleaning process for your Maytag Neptune front-loading washer, for example, requires some time and patience. Over time, your washing machine will need to be cleaned. It can develop offensive odors through multiple wash cycles. This makes the washing machine less effective at cleaning the clothes you put into it. Maytag offers some sound advice for cleaning your front-loading washing machine.
  • Pour 2/3 cup of liquid chlorine bleach into the bleach compartment of the dispenser drawer of your Maytag Neptune front-loading washer.

  • 2

Run your Maytag Neptune front-loading washer on the "Clean Washer" setting. Press "Start" to start the cycle.

  • 3

Leave the door open once the cycle is complete to allow the inside of your Maytag Neptune front-loading washer to ventilate and air dry.

  • 4

Look closely at the gray seal of the Maytag Neptune front-loading washer's door opening. This seal can have a buildup of debris or detergent residue.

  • 5

Spray the seal with an all-purpose appliance cleaner and scrub away any debris or residue with a cloth or scrubbing pad. Dry with a clean cloth.

  • 6

Remove the soap dispenser drawer. Press the release lever and lift it out to clean.

  • 7

Take out the inserts and rinse them and the drawer thoroughly.

  • 8

Wash with a mild soap and cloth to remove any residue. Dry thoroughly before replacing.

  • ALWAYS LEAVE THE DOOR OPEN WHEN NOT IN USE! This prevents the mold and mildew from forming once you get it cleaned.

What is the error code dS for Neptune Maytag Washer MAH8700AWW?

Please advise me on any recalls and technical information involving error code 3E during a wash load, which appears related to be a faulty control panel. My machine is always shutting down each time it reaches the rinse cycle. Numerous consumers have been complaining about this same model at consumeraffairs.com. Replacement of the control panel is expensive at an average cost of 298 dollars and appears to be the corrective action for other consumers with error code 3E. Over current is not being detected at the motor. I'm disappointed with the quality of this washer considering I purchased it in 2005 for over 1,000 dollars. This problem has forced me to use a local laundry mat to wash my clothes. This error code is not listed in the User manual.

Error code ''suds'' on maytag front loading washer

Press Chime and Extra rinse keys for three seconds or until the control beeps. You are now in service mode and your machine should say a new error code. Depending on what that code is, you might be able to reset your machine by unplugging it, and replugging it in. if your codes are now clear, try running machine on spin only or rinse cycle. DO NOT add more soap!!! If this corrects your problem, try running a load with out soap. You may have a lot of extra soap in your machine.

    Washer won't drain/rinse/spin

it may be a pressure switch fault. Remove the top cover (lid) and look for a round object with a small rubber pipe coming of it and a electrical connector with 2 or 3 wires, replace this part.

Washer is not rinsing and spinning

Check for loose connections at pressure switch,
motor, tach harness, motor control and machine
control board terminal connections. These are common problems that will induce this issue with your washer.

LG TROMM WM2487 Bleach not getting fully removed after cycle

Keeping in mind that the bleach gets dispensed into your wash on the second to last rinse cycle and that most all rinse cycles are in cold water.  Is your cold water valve screen plugged causing your washer to rinse poorley?  Are you using the HE detergent?  If not maybe the washer is sudsing up to much and haveing a hard time rinsing all the suds and bleach out.

Fill the washer up with no clothes in it on a cold/cold wash setting does it take a long time to fill the washer up?  Also when it is full and agitating is there suds in the washer?

Last suggestion is if the drain is hose is alot higher than the top of the washer it might have a hard time draining out all of the bleach water before the next load
