Text message i tried sending messages but it keeps saying message sending faile.help me please. i use the Lg vx9900 that was flashed to cricket networks. james- houston i have the lg chocolate.  I just had it flashed to metro pcs and i can't send texts either.  can you help me please?

Hi, the cause of message failed it's related to your sim card (network), not your samsung cell phone. In most cases, regarding text messages, the problem is from the Service Operator. Have you tried the sim card on another phone? If not, remove the sim card, insert it on another phone and try sending a message from another mobile to you number, or you can do it in vise versa by inserting another sim card on your mobile.

If you can't receive text messages even it's inserted on another handset, then you need to call the customer care of your Network Operator and tell them your problem, they will help you fix it immediately.

You can check the message center number, but I don't think it's very much important in your case, well, if you wanna try, just check the text message settings and verify that the message center number (which is currently in use) is the same number which is on another phone with the same network (the other sim should be of the same network in your area). If it's different, make the changes and save the settings. Also disable the "Receive Via" or similar settings.. (I can't recollect the exact settings as i don't have the same model with me, please excuse me for this.).

If the same sim card doesn't receive text messages using another handset, don't bother to change the settings or to make any changes with it, first call the customer care and verify from them, you may make mistakes instead of fixing it.

actually, it is not possible to download ringtones to a Rant from Myxer. You have to use a phone uploader with ringtones from your computer and send yourself a "jump code". Unfortunately, Cricket does not offer this option.

Hey, I just bought the same phone from ebay, and it was preflashed for cricket too. My phone had the same exact problem. I called cricket technical support at 1-800-274-2538 and they refreshed my flashing while i was on the phone with them. As soon as I got off the phone with them my phone worked perfectly. i had the same issue with picture messenging and texting when i first got my env on cricket! i went to the cricket store and they reprogrammed it and its worked since!

contact cricket and get there messae centre number of them, enter this into the option on your message settings, also get them to send you a sim update and also a gprs message update this will sort all your problems

Go to settings>communication (the name differs from phone to phone, but it usually has a radio tower next to it) server, select YOUR Phone service I.E. AT&T

Flashing phones may limit the capabilities of the phone, since it is often "hardwired" to a certain network. I would take the phone to cricket and see what they say

check if u have enough balance to send the message.
