Numark IDJ 2USB Flash Drive issues

Hi all, I have have 3,000 songs on a 32GB flash drive (Sandisk) with the Numark Library installed. All the tracks are loaded & play without problems. I have however noticed when a track is playing on either deck & then I search & load another song on the second deck whilst track is playing , I can notice a slight delay or stutter on the track I'm playing. It's is hardly noticable but can be heard. When I loaded another USB flash stick of 8GB, all the songs don't appear to have this problem. Is there something I can do to fix this issue on the larger size flash drive, defragmentation or transferring songs in small folders onto the 32GB USB drive? Cheers

Use the lexar brand jump drive, they tend to work better the the dj station. i have a 64GB jump drive with 3,000 songs on it and it works great with no problems.

Hi,

This cant be solved by yourself. You need to do continuity testing on the board. This problem
arises due to water fall on the board.Rough use of the Numark or it would have fell down badly.
The circuit board has been shorted out.Have to do correct testing to find the correct IC which is damaged on the board.

Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Hi. My Alpine IDA X100 doesn't want to read the track from my flash drive. I have tried it with different flash drives like 8GB and I bought an Adata 32GB flash drive hoping for no issues but here it...

Compatibility issues can come from a couple different places when dealing with digital media. I looked up your device here http://reviews.cnet.com/car-audio/alpine-ida-x100-digital/4507-3425_7-32790566.html for your digital specifics. I am under the assumption that you are trying to play MP3 files. Your Alpine reads ID3 tags and this could be where a lot of your issues are coming from and some could possibly come from the file name of your MP3's. Most car audio decks are not equipped to handle characters that people put in the MP3 names or ID3 tags. If you notice how the working MP3's are titled on your Alpine's display it usually reads something like "song - artist". If there are characters like "~ # ^ $" or something to that effect, your Alpine might not be able to read that. If the MP3 name is already written like "song - artist" then the problem could be in the ID3 tags and they could have unreadable characters in there which are not visible to you without a ID3 tag editor. In this case, download a free ID3 editor, trying clearing it out or modifying it to a simpler format, edit your file names as needed and try that out.

Numark NDX400 will not play a flash drive with more than 1 track loaded on it

I had exactly the same problem. You need to press the "Track Push" knob when you have selected the track you want you can then hit "play" to play the track.

Unable to download itunes from itunes library to sandisk clip mp3

Make sure the files are in MP3 or WMA file format. If they are in a different file format other than the ones above convert them because for audio those two are the file format that the sansa clip supports. Im not sure but iTunes convert songs to AAC or MP4 depending on the settings of it.

The best way to transfer songs tot he sansa clip is to change the mode of the player to MSC by going to Settings and then USB Mode. This would help detect the drive as a flash drive so you could copy and paste songs to it.
