Freezer compartment on Sanyo SR-3660S

While scraping the ice build up off the freezer tray I opunctured the raised metal through which the freon (?) flowed. Air now rushes out. Is there any way to plug the gash?

Nope. That's about $800 bucks in damage that only a licensed professional CFC tech could "possibly" repair with very specialized equipment. I'm afraid that was a fatal blow to your refrigerator.

I want to remove the freezer tray from SR-2570M. Can this be done without removing the refrigerant?

No. The freezer "tray" is the evaporator, and therefore, the most important part of the unit. (this applies to most mini-fridges out there)

Hissing snayo sr 3660s

That's the refrigerant coming out. Major fix. I am not a ref tech, so I do not know if there is a guaranteed welding technique to do an effective weld on those refrigerator coils.

The freezer door is missing

Look for a gasket for the freezer on the main door of the unit. This model may not have a separate freezer door. If there are hinge pins for a freezer door and this is new, contact whoever sold it to you and report the damage. Otherwise try Amazon, eBay or Samsung to buy the missing part.

Water flowing into refrigerator. Ice build up behind freezer back wall. Will clearing ice from drains suffice or do I need a new heater? Foam drains to fridge are open. There is a small hole under...

hello again,
part 2 of the answer, the metal pan is the drain in the center of it is where the drain is blocked, the foam vents are the vents where the air from the freezer flows into the fresh food compartment,GENTLYclear that small hole so as not to puncture the tubing in the coil above it,or you will loose all the refrigerant(freon) an dthe ref, will be dead

My frigde is working but does not get cold

On something like this what I recommend first is to remove the rear panel inside the freezer so we can inspect the evaporator. If the evaporator is iced up the unit will not cool properly & is a sign of a defrost cycle failure.

I was chipping off ice in the freezer compartment and my screw driver made a small hole and there was a hissing sound as the freon escaped.

by the time you have bought/fitted new pipework to this unit you could buy a new one.(pipes are too thin to replace and "loy"(alloy putty)only works for a few weeks.tried it.......next time use an antifreeze spray.....

Have a 17 year old Kelvinator N640T side by side no frost fridge freezer. Runs well except ice builds up on the bottom of the freezer compartment and when it builds up too much some melts spilling water...

You problem lies in a blocked drain or a broken drain connection to the metal drip tray at the bottom of the freezer heat exchanger. You could try blowing the drain out from beneath the fridge, which is difficult as it is very hard to access. Alternatively you will need to remove the tray. This means you have to remove the contents of the freezer, remove the lower long white metal cover and blow out the drain. Then test the drain with a cup of water. If it leaks into the bottom of the freezer compartment you will have to remove the drain and epoxy the joint together again.
