Laptop auto shuts off - will not come back on

check the cooling fans of the laptop whether they are working or not

If you want to force a shut down on the computer itself, just hold the power button for a few seconds until the computer turns off

Looks like you have a faulty battery, since you bought your laptop 4 months ago, I think it is still covered by their warranty. Please try to contact the manufacturer about the possible battery replacement. :)
Some of the things to do/check if the manufacturer requires you to return your laptop to them: 1. Backup all your important files to a different media/storage, like an external hard drive or burn them to blank DVD's
2. You can also tell them that it MIGHT be your charger that's faulty. Either way, they SHOULD check the battery and charger.

you can replace the fan if you know how to do so but take it to a qualified technician and they will be able to sort it out for you and it should be that expensive

Unplug the power supply, remove the battery then press the power button 10x or more holding each press for about 10secs. Insert the battery, plug the power supply and turn it on. If it doesn't, repeat the steps. This should remove the static electricity stuck in the mainboard.

If it turns-on, set your laptop to hybernate when you close the lid so you don't need to shutdown it anymore. If it runs out of power while in hybernation, it should start again.

try to install the camera's drivers again. I would recommend full uninstall, than shut down the computer. after it starts again, check if the windows recognizes the camera. If not, install it with drivers manually.

Try not to install the battery while its on. Power down the laptop then install the battery and power back on the laptop. Hope that helps.

Do you know the temp. of the motherboard/graphics card?
Kinda sounds like the actual graphics card got hot, and shut down..... try turning the unit off, letting it sit for around 30 minutes, then turn it back on, and see if the same problem happens.

Try to make it a point to see how hot the bottom of the unit it.

first try to locate the memory of your laptop, get it and insert it back to the socket. then, turn back on your laptop again.note please remove the power adapter and the battery before doing anything to your laptop for security reasons only.if it doesn't work just contact an expert technician to check your laptop, maybe there are some components that are not functioning.
