All I get is a red blinking light. Please help.
Hello Everyone. My name is Mervin Guy. i have over 20 years experience in the TV repair business. Spent a lot of years with Advisory TV & Radio Labs. Then With Circuit City until they close. I have the Fix for the Panasonic 2 blinks error and also the 10 blinks fix. This is for the TH-42PZ85 , TH-42PZ80, TH-42PZ800,. I am listed here under the name circuitcity. To get the fix you have to ship your board to us. You can check us out on e-bay under the name "startny" or at circuitsquad dot com. We have a 100% feedback at e-bay. I must have fixed over 200 of these board and never a complaint. I cannot give you the fix in this public forum because its a business for us. Make sure all of your connections for cable attenna or satelite are fully connected.

In your tv there some problem with power supply. you have to check the followin voltages. Sub 5v SOS ,Main 3.3v SOS A-Board,DTV 9v SOS , Tuner Power SOS. If any one of the voltage fails it will shows 10 blinks.

just bought one tonight. turned it on once and it worked. turned it off and it won't come back on again.
I was watching TV and all of a sudden it turned off and the red led on the front flashes 7 times and stops and the starts again.
I called Panasonic and they said to try a different outlet and I did and then they said that they have to send a service-person out to fix it and maybe replace parts. Luckily it is covered under the 1 year parts and labor warranty. But I have to wait until Friday. So I might just bring it to Best Buy and swap it for one that works.
