GE XL44 Gas Range Clock Display frozen with only an "8"

The digital clock display worked fine when we moved into the house. At some point, the display went blank, and has been for awhile. Today, secured all the breakers in the house to work on an outlet, and when I turned them back on, the clock display is lit up again, this time just with an "8". Pressing the timer and clock buttons, or +/- has done nothing to change it. Any ideas other than buying a new clock display control unit?

Set clock on ge profile gas range

Didn't give a model number, but try the following:

For a mechanical clock, push the center knob in and turn the clock hands to the correct time. (If the Minute Timer pointer should move also, let the knob out, turn the Timer pointer to OFF.)

For a digital clock, push in the center knob of the Minute Timer and turn Knob in either direction to set the Digital Clock numerals to the correct time.

For an electronic clock, touch the Clock pad. Touch the number pad. Touch the start pad until the time of day shows in the display. Note: On double wall ovens, you can only set the Timer for one oven.

Frigidaire oven won't work. top range works fine, but digital clock and digital display stopped working which works oven, so oven also will not work f11 code

Hello steve o - Typically error code F11 indicates a shorted keypad. Try resetting the range by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. This usually will clear most false error codes. Wait approximately ten minutes and if the error code does not clear contact a professional to move forward accurately. Most likely the EOC on the range will need replacing.

Ge xl44 stove digital display clock stop working.

We see this failure due to two possible problems with the electronic control. Sometimes there is a failure that causes the display to shut off. Other times the display itself goes bad. The first case we can repair. If you send us the board we can check it out. If it is not repairable there is no charge. - www.fixyourboard.com.

My clock stopped working on the display

The plug on your range may not be completely inserted into the outlet.
Clear all functions and see if the clock unfreezes
After all this, if the clock digits light up, and you still can't use any clock functions, it may be time for a new control panel.
