contact customer care with another smart sim for puk code
provide details as he needs them
he may ask for serial no. which is written behind ur sim.
provide him the details and ur problem will be solved.

smart chip means the SIM card.

try cleaning the metallic part of the SIM card with a cloth and the metal connectors on the phone with cotton bud etc.

Put it back and try again.

If not working grab another SIM card (working - friend's etc) to test.

If still not working, send to service centre.
If working for other SIM card then replace your own SIM card.

You need the sim card that's the same as the cell phones provider in order for it to work
