My 60" lcd projection tv wont turn on sometimes and throws a lamp light, and if i watch tv for a while and turn it off it wont turn back on and throws the red lamp light

did you use original Mits Lamp or a generic?? most mits DLP tvs wont run long or at all with generic lamps

What is the model# of your TV?
Do you see any blinking (LED) lights on the front of the TV?
How many blinks?
Which LED light is blinking, Power, timer or lamp?

Lamp is going to end of its life and causing this problem. Its time to replace lamp in tv, rest of tv is just fine.
Lamp replacement procedure is easy and would be written in user manual, please buy Sony original lamp for good picture in tv.

It seems lamp/ bulb popped again, check lamp inside tv.
If tv does not show red blinking light then it would be lamp that knocked off, replace lamp in tv to fix its problem, please buy Sony original lamp for good picture in tv.

When was the last time the projection lamp was replaced in this tv?The tv projectoion lamp in the tv now,lamp has not been replaced like a 1 1/2 or 2 years and tv on watches 4 or 5 hours a day.The tv projection lamp life are over.Require a new projection lamp.

How old is this TV? Did you replaced its lamp?
Symptom shows TV needs new lamp as existing lamp is weak and unable to provide back light.

most likely, buy you a lamp and install it yourself, the owners manual tells you how to do this.

If it is a Hitachi 60V500 LCD projection TV, then I would suspect the lamp being the problem.
