How do you change a language that you cant read back to english

hi richard what music program do u use iTunes or Microsoft media player bc depending on the program u use there 2 different ways to fix it?

well i quess you need to remember what you clicked on to get to the languages and click on every single option there is untill u get it!

SEARCH ON GOOGLE FOR PEOPLE WHO KNOW THE LANGUAGE IT CHANGED TOOO ITS THAT EASY OR TRANSLATE FROM GOOGLE ACTUALLY POST the language and i will help you out i can get a few languages in myself

Thats a translation if your SanDisk uses symbols for chinese to change it back to english.

Try a master reset using the manual, It should reset it factory settings. You can then configure the archos.

OK I DID IT!!!

1 Go to the icon that looks like an Equlizer, that is the settings, SELECT.
2 scroll threw list intill you see the words, press in hold, which should read in english
3 scroll 6 down and you will be at language SELECT
4 scroll threw this list intill you see english then select

5 send me money for solving this SH*T... Just kidding I want payment in HOT ******!!!

i would try to the manual..... turn off the player. Go step by step as if in english and hopefully you will find it. Good luck.

Pages 18 - 20 has the Settings Menu, you can see what you need to change to get back to English.

Under your menu (accesed by pressing down on the switch that changes songs) there's a part that says either settings or options (looking through the icons will help you fiond it since you can't read it) and it will have a sing under there that says language and has (I think) an icon of 'ABC'. Go there and switch to English.
