Make sure you are connecting the red and white connectors to Audio IN on the TV.

You really should be using a HDMI wire though...

SOURCE: PS3 hdmi cable

Hold the power button for 5 seconds or more, that will reset to regular viewing ratio. From there you can adjust to whatever you are using. I had the same problem.

SOURCE: ps3 know picture showing up

If your picture is not showing up try resetting the config settings and if this does not work it could be the GPU overheating.

Try another cable but if no luck it will be this - you can send it in for repair or use a good no display fix to get back to gaming.

If your tv has hdmi ports I would recommend that instead of the standard YWR-AV you will have way a better sound and picture.

I just bought a Samsun Series 4+ / 440 / 450 (on the users manual lol) but when i try to hook up my DTV or PS3 using an AV cable, nothing shows up. In the Sources, it shows "AV" but when i select...

is that the av channel? if so, how do you know your getting a signal from the ps3? try hooking the ps3 up to something else to make sure you have a signal coming out of that cable (this is where you have to start) if you have another device like a DVD player, or VCR, hook that up to the AV input (or channel one as you say). if you get a picture from those devices, the problem is your ps3 not sending the signals to the tv. sorry I can't be more helpful, but that's my guess

No picture or sound

Your display needs to be reset, Turn the ps3 off. Then turn the ps3 back on but continue to press the power button until you hear the beeps then it should work fine :)

PS3 hdmi connection

With your PS3 on standby (red light) hold the on/off button down until it goes green and then back to red. This restores your PS3 to "factory settings", i.e. it is waiting for you to tell it how you want it to connect to your TV. Now disconnect any HDMI cables you may be trying to use and connect your PS3 to your TV via a scart connection. Now switch your PS3 on and turn to your AV channel and you should have both sound and pictures.

Hi! name's wesley. anyways, here's the problem. i just bought a new samsung 32' lcd tv and everything is great except for one thing: when i connect my ps2 to the "av 2" input, the sound comes out...

There is a problem with the AV2 input. Since this is a new set, return it for repair or exchange. DO NOT open it up as that would void the warranty.

Black and white and feedback

hi this problem usually happens if you have got alot of things plugged into the telly like dvd players this causes the interferance and can be solved by disconecting these other items.
Also are you plugging it into the telly via scart lead or are you using the av leads ie the different coloured ones.
If you are using scart fitting have you tried pressing the av button on the telly controll as if you are not on the right av chanell this will cause black and white pictures so give it a try also this is the same with the coloured leads let me know how you get on.
Make sure their is nothing in the conector at the ps3 end like a biit of paper or fluff as this can cause all sorts of problems and dont use your ps3 on carpet as it will cause unit to get to hot and will cause parts to overheat and will need replacing check all air vents are free from dust and make sure its on hard surface if the unit has overheated it will cost a fortune to repair

Picture goes to a lime green fuzz and then no piture or sound!

which AV connection are you using? HDMI or the cable supplied with the PS3, If using HDMI, you have to set the PS3 visual settings to HDMI, to do this, use the cable supplied with the PS3, and have the HDMI cable plugged in. Then while using the cables supplied with the PS3, switch the settings over to HDMI, then change the TV's input selector to your HDMI and confirm the settings changes. Hope it helps take care

Ps3- hdmi to av

unless there is a switch on the ps3 itself to change to normal tv, you may have to reconnect the ps3 via HDMI and change the screen resolution back to 480p or change the settings in the setup from hdmi to av.
