Here are a handful of problems you might be having:

1) Be certain the radio is turned OFF when plugging in an audio device.
2) Be certain the remote mic is plugged all the way in, until you feel a slight click.
3) Your accessory jack could be wobbled or worn from plugging and unplugging chargers/audio devices. If so, the radio would need repair.
4) Your remote mic is not working. Try it on another unit to confirm.
5) Or the remote mic is not the one designed to go with the XTN radio.

Best regards.

Frecuencias radio xtn xu2601

The frequencies programmed into the radio vary by the Country the radio was to be sold in. For instance, the frequencies for the XTN for the USA is different than the frequencies available for Canada. What is your question? How to program or what are the frequencies?

I HAVE A XTN SERIES 2600 N I CAN'T GET IT TO WORK WITH MY 2100

Here's a link to the user guide. Hi, I have a Yamaha rx-v450 amp that won't change sound modes (stereo, hall, jazz, rock etc) from the remote control but it works from the buttons on the unit. I've checked my remote by pointing it...

Hi! Transmitting doesn't mean it's working, What you should do to test it is use a good quality universal remote such as a Logitech Harmony and first program the preset code for your receiver into the Universal Remote. If that works, you know your OEM remote has gone bad, at least for those buttons. If it doesn't then you you should attempt to have your Universal Remote "learn" the IR signals from your receiver's remote If the controls still don't work, there is a problem with either your IR receiver on your receiver or the the circuitry that proceesses the signals into commands. Good Luck!

My XU2100 XTN series 2 Way radio is not working. Not receiving or sending transmissions to the other two radios. It is fully charged. It does not make an audible "beep" when you turn it on. ...

Your radio is likely in need of repair. Flat rate repair for this model usually runs around $69. The fact it does not give you the initialization beep indicates it is more than a frequency problem. Then coupled with you do not have transmit or receive, this sounds like you have more of a problem than a bad speaker.

A few things to check before sending it for repair would be:
1) Swap the battery with a known good unit to see if your battery is bad/low and doesn't have enough power to function the radio fully.
2) Check your frequency and code to see if it matches your other units. This is in the upper right corner of the screen shortly after turning the radio on.
3) Check your mic opening in the grill of the radio to be certain it is not covered or free from debris.

If these any of these three items do not solve the problem, you should send your radio for repair.

Best regards.

I work where we need two way radios i purchased used ones from ebay and took them to work and set them to the codes that the directions said. both the motorola xtn series and the cp100..older models. they...

On the XTN and CP100 series radios you have 4-6 items which would need to be programmed: Frequency, Code, Scramble, Wideband/Narrowband, Mic Gain, and VOX. You can tell when you've reached the end of programming through the steps because the "chirp" will sound different.

Just a few thoughts which might help you:
1) Check to see these items match identically: frequency, code, scramble and wide/narrowband. (note: the numbering system on frequencies differs between the two models.)
2) If you are using an audio device and/or VOX, be sure you have the radio turned OFF when plugging in the device.
3) Check your mic hole to make certain you do not have debris or something covering the hole.

Educated guess you might have the code set differently between the radios. If these suggestions do not solve the problem, google our company name and give us a call, we can walk you through checking the programming over the phone. Have both a known good CP100 and XTN radio handy.

Best regards.
