Another cause of power loss in diesel engines is clogged fuel filter. Some vehicles have additional fuel filter INSIDE the fuel tank. I had my tank taken down and the inside filter cleaned and it fixed the problem. Some petrol stations and repair shops provide this service. If replacing the fuel filter in the engine compartment doesn't fix the problem, try this one. See FB "Toyota Innova Owners Phils" for more pictures.
The indicator you see is call a water in fuel warning lamp.
====
This a very important warning and you will need to take corrective action ASAP.
====
As a diesel owner,you need to know diesel fuel can attract moisture. When condensation (water droplets) collect inside the fuel tank,it will contaminate the diesel.
====
The corrective action is to locate the drain **** on the fuel filter and CAREFULLY drain the water from the bottom of the filter housing. (with engine off / key out)
====
The water in fuel warning light will go off as soon as the water is drained.
====
Use one bottle of RED Iso-Heet to remove any additional water inside the fuel tank.
Yes, this is indictating at least 1 low tire of the 5, maybe more...Check ALL 5 tire pressures and set them to 29lbs, as per the specs and then turn your key to"ON"...then push and hold the button under the steering collumn until the light on the dash flashes 3 times, indicating that you have re-set the computer to recognize the pressure that you now have set....
