When my washing machine is in wash cycle (Hoover Commodore 5.0kg), it makes a loud squeaking (with each rotation). I think it is comming from the bottom of the machine? How do I fix this?

This is either a belt slip or a squeeling bearing ater seal, if it is not the belt then try doing a boil wash, this often resolves the problem. Regards Advisor

water during rinsing;
- adjusts the spin speed according to the
load, thus avoiding any imbalance.

Squeaking washing Machine during spin cycle

Hi
Loks that your machine is pretty old and hence the belt has hardened making a squeaking noise.
Good fix is get a new drive belt.
OR
Quick fix is you could put some oil on the drive belt..... it will work for now but not a permenant solution.

Hoover commodore 5.5kg

Check your exit hose spigot, it may be clogged. This is if your filter is all clean(ref manual). There should be air for passage in the standpipe behind. Your hose should not fit airtight into the standpipe and neither too deep into it. Snaking out your standpipe would be good too.

My old Hoover top loader Washer is noisy & doesn't spin out properly - how can I fix it?

Sounds like the switch which cuts the machine off when the load is unbalanced. My guess is that: This switch is being triggered too easily The springs holding the bowl up are either stretched or one is broken; The machine may not be level.
