When door of fridge or freezer is opened, led flashes, alarm sounds and fan goes on off on off. Everything seems to work just fine, just this crazy annoying alarm going off every time fridge is opened. Any ideas? ty in advance.
Just had one of these with the blinking light, fan pulsating and no cooling. The fault is the power supply section in the control module at the back. It is a 2uF 400VAC capacitor going open circuit. make sure you replace this capacitor with something equal or better rated - it is critical

Check the sensor in the refridgerator... on the right,,
SOURCE: freezer works but fridge remains warm.
The same fan that circulates air in the freezer also blows air in to the fridge. If you open the freezer door and hold the door switch closed you should hear the fan running. If not you have a failed motor or motor control. Look at the back wall of the freezer section and see if there is a heavy frost build up. If so. you have a defrost system problem. Please post back with what you find and with the complete model number and I will try to walk you through the steps of checking everything.
Thanks/Mike
SOURCE: Freezer alarm keeps going off..
Mate prehaps the defrost element could be burntout thus no auto defrost and the big freeze and the alarm, when you switch off the defrost starts and the alarm resets?

I have the sam eproblem...another site I went to said it is ice build up on the fan. Unplug the frig for an hour (don't open the doors or everything will spoil) and then plug in...it may defrost a bit and allow the fan to turn freely.
