I cannot connect my lg kg800 phone as a modem to my laptop.

Whenever i try to connect my phone to my laptop as a modem, the lg cube software does not recognize my phone as a modem. I uninstalled the software and installed it later. Along the insallation, the computer requests for a modem driver software but cant find any on the installation cd. Repeated attempts to try to connect to the internet using the lg internet cube has proved futile and i am in need of the usb modem driver software.
Please help me out of thid problem. Thanks.

The_Wise23 - delete and try reinstalling your lg usb modem if that does not work call your provider and see if they can assist you more.

chinesebox - the best thing to do is uninstall all lg software and then reinstall it.

for all other users un-install then reinstall

Cannot connect using LG internet cube software
I had the same problem but now i have found the solution for it. Its not the software its the phone. Go to your Phone Settings hit Connectivity and then Usb Connection select Data Service and now connect your phone to the pc and select connect in Mobilesync and it should work. After you are done using MOBILE SYNC you can simple go in settings once again and choose mass storage for any downloads!!!

go to "settings" then "connectivity" press "modem" say yes BUT DONT CLOSE THE PHONE. then connect it to the PC and run contents back and connect :).
