Changed my stk 392 150 ( both ) did not correct problem - HELP!

Ur tv still have dead resistors parts,test all 12 resistors parts around the 2 STK convergence ICS and changes some more dead resistors parts or changes all 12 resistors parts for sure.If tv still have the same problems after tested and replaces more resistors parts or all 12 resistors parts.Than some how when u handling and replacing the 2 STK convergence ICS and resoldering the 2 STK covergence ICS u short it out the 2 STK convergence ICS by resoldering without proper grounding ur self not to allow for static electricity to kill the 2 STK convergence ICS or u using a soldering iron to high of a wattage for doing soldering ICS work.

Sometimes there is also a fuse in that circuit.

It's always best to remove one leg, however there tolerance is so close you should be able to get an exact ohm reading, and I mean exact. Some are connected in parallel so if they're 6.8 ohm then you'll read 3.4. What is the number of the STK's you changed?
Yes, I would replace them again.

you have proble with the convergences ICs if the tree colors are at fault then also check your power supply voltages the polarization resistors

Did you have double image before changing the stk's ? If not then there was no need to change them.. Pioneers are known for bad solder connections especially in the power supply section.. suggest checking that when you changed the stk's that there are no solder bridges between the pins of either stk ICs

Thats the time you need to replaced the convergence IC.

Double images and colors are blurry and fuzzy images .Blue,red and yellow wave coming up from the bottom of the screen on the lower left and cannot be adjusted this is the symptom for busted convergence IC,you must replaced this IC in order that will works better again.STK 392-xxx ICs and it's associated resistor,this resistor automatically change value,can caused truoble even though you change the ICs.If you bring this to a service center they cost you $600 to $700,but if you buy the repair kit you can save more,don't wory it is very easy because there is intallation guide including in the repair kit. If these colors appear to be like a 3-D image, the problem is in the convergence circuit. Please update this with the make and model and I will provide you with further information and instructions.

did you replace or check the 4.7 ohm 1/2 watt resistors or the 6 pico fuses when you changed ICs? If not thats most likely your problem.

you have to replace all 3 ic's and 2 are stk 392-110 and the 3rd one is stk 392-150 they are located on the extreme right of your tv on a long heat sink all 3 are located there.You can get replacements as well as free tech online support at
