This set has 3 hidden menus accessed with a different 4 digit number code----You need the Mitsubishi remote to enter.

One of them is the Option menu which will allow a hard reset of the TV back to factory original---98% of the time it will restore all inputs--cures all sorts of odd problems.

If you have that remote and want to try it let me know for sure the model number and I will give you a link to the instructions for doing it.

First thing to try is to press the reset button on the front of the TV. This forces a system reset.

First suggestion is to unplug your unit for 24 hours, if does not correct your concerns, you may have fluid leakage from the tubes onto the pc boards. Make sure you have proper air venting around the tv. If problem persist call factory authorized dealer in your area. good luck

SOURCE: Mitsubishi WS-65809 - works, but screen won't power on.

yes that is correct 12 is normal...make sure all connectors are plugged in and in the correct places . conectors should be marked with letters that match the marking on the circuit board. Then look for heaters , in the glass bottom of the picture tubes(CRTs) there should be a little orange glow visable though the neck of the CRTs just above where the crt boards plugg onto the bottom. if the heaters are not glowing then check your wires to the crt boards again , you probly tugged one of them too hard during disassembly also check for cracked solder in the heater circuit......Oh yeah, you didn't mention -Does the TV get high voltage ??? thats important to having a picture......If you see the heaters glowing when the tv is on then look down into the lenses of the crts . If you see a brite color horizontal line closer to one side in each of them then you know most of the tv is working. If that line is curved then the tv probly detects that the convergence circuit is not working and it is blanking video.
OR -----
the error is 21 (see what number it ends the sequence with..) . Error 21 is X_Ray protect and you probly plugged one of the connectors into the diagnosic connector(near the high voltage transformer- normally nothing goes there) . If that is the case then somthing in the H.V. circuit could have been permanently damaged and now the tv has a new problem and wont work even if you put that connector in the right place.

Add hdmi port to mitsubishi ws-65807

I doubt it as it was never designed for that kind of input, Component works best on this set and it should have only one HD input for a box marked in the menu as DTV.

Ws 65611 will not play HD channels. Screen gets fuzzy like it is trying to focus, then converts to blue screen that states "Check connections or power. The connections for RGBHV or YPrPb invalid" I have...

This model only has one HD input---it has two sets of component inputs on the back and one is marked 480/1080----in the menu it will be the DTV input.

Check to make sure you are not connected to the other component input.

Let me know what happens and let me know exactly where you are connected and what are using for signal.

If this told you something you did not know rate this solution as very helpful as I do this here for free.

Mitsubishi WS-65315 plug in HD comp shows as 480i

Greetings,

In the input assignment menu make sure that the DTV (the only 1080 input on this tv) is set to Y/Pb/Pr and see if that fixes your issue with at least the HD-DVR.

BTW- the HDMI information "1080i HD can only be selected if TV has HDMI inputs". is not correct.

All inputs work except for the component videos.

When your tv shows a blue screen it not getting a signal!! In your mit's you have to go into the customer menu and turn on the input/device. The device control is on the remote, click over to input and activate (enter). Also, look into owners manual, the customer service at mit's will step you through it if you wish. Note: put cables into comp 1 (eg), make sure colored cables are correctly inserted, and audio. (red, blue, green) red/white; audio.
