Anchor acts like the battery is low but it's fully charged. Slow going up and down
SOURCE: Have a minn kota riptide sf 101 thrust 62" shaft.
There is more than the shaft, there is the housing and then everything needs to fit and have correct clearances.....I suggest sell the old one and get a 52 inch new one...
SOURCE: What spec battery is the
that depends on the usage you want. any good deep cycle marine battery should do you good. min of 700 cca
SOURCE: did Minn Kota make the diehard 20 lbthrust
I would say that the bearings have rusted solid , the humming is the motor trying to turn.
Dismantle the lower housing and inspect , the alternative is throw it out and buy a new one , and take care of it,.
SOURCE: My minn Kota deackhand 35 won't lift a 28lb anchor
How heavy is the line that is attached to the anchor - you need to add that weight to the amount being lifted as well. Some general things to consider: Are you providing the correct voltage and current? Is the wire supplying the motor large enough - or is it getting hot? Check & clean as needed ALL connections at terminals, relays, etc for corrosion and tightness. Make sure the unit has been serviced and lubricated as required.
