So you replaced a blown fuse to the cigar lighter and it still dosent work?.. then the wiring was compromised before the fuse blew..you need to repair bad wiring to cigar lighter and/or lighter itself internally melted /failed due to your air pump asking for more electricity than the cigar lighter could deliver..once repaired do not use the air pump there again ..good luck

no not so hard really..once you have accessed the lighter it is straight forward and hopefully it will be obvious what is melted or needs to be replaced....my labor guide says .5 hours to r&r the lighter assembly..good luck

Cigarette lighter

It is fuse #14 in the "under-dash" fuse box. It will be a blue, 15amp fuse. b1e1e43.jpg 9986d75.jpg a93fc31.jpg ed18ac3.jpg

2004 eclipse gs. clock display and cigarette lighter not working

These items are on a fuse, it will be a 20 or 30 amp fuse, the likely cause of this fuse being blown is the cigar lighter is shorted out, this is very common on all cars.
