Check the horizontal output section circuit. Six blinks of standby light indicates:

  1. Six blinks - No Horizontal (H STOP), no raster, goes to the blinking self-diagnosis function immediately. Check C515 & 516 and the jungle IC, IC206.

Colour and black ink cartridge flashing orange

They call that flash codes or error codes. please count
count how many times the lights flash, here is what they mean

I had the problem of the full ink absorber. I already washed and cleaned all the parts related. Now, I need to reset the counter; how I can do it??

<Ink absorber counter resetting>
Reset the ink absorber counter (to 0%) when the ink absorber is replaced, or after the logic board is
replaced.
1) In the service mode, press the Stop/Reset button 4 times to enter the ink absorber counter resetting
mode.
2) In the ink absorber counter resetting mode, press the Stop/Reset button the specified number of time(s)
according to the kind of ink absorber whose value should be reset to 0%.

1 time Platen ink absorber (0%)
2 times Both the main and platen ink absorbers (0%)
3 times or more Press the ON/OFF button to return to the ink amount resetting mode.

4) After the ink absorber counter is reset, the counter value is printed automatically.
("D=000.0 Ps=000.0" is printed at the top left of the paper.)

.error 1700 says waste ink absorber nearly

(In waste ink absorber replacement, perform
the EEPROM information print to identify if the main and/or platen
waste ink absorber should be replaced. After replacement, reset
the applicable waste ink counter(s).)

The following 3 methods are available:
- Resetting the main waste ink counter (0%)
- Re-setting the main waste ink counter
value to 50%
- Resetting the platen waste ink counter
(0%)

<Service mode operation procedures>
1) With the front cover closed, and the printer power turned off, while pressing the Resume/Cancel
button, press and hold the Power button. (DO NOT release the buttons. The LED lights in green
to indicate that a function is selectable.)
2) While holding the Power button, release the Resume/Cancel button. (DO NOT release the
Power button.)
3) While holding the Power button, press the Resume/Cancel button 2 times, and then release

The middle light keeps flashing 7 times then stops then repeats. the other button to change the paper type. i dont think its a ink issue possibly a paper one.

This mean multiple ink tanks of the same color installed or Ink tank in a wrong position.Check your ink tanks.This ink tanks has a memory chip.Sometimes this chip fails.
If the green light blinks with a orange 7 times this mean the waste ink tank is full.Follow this:
1. Turn off printer
2. Hold down Resume button and press Power button.
3. Keep holding down Power button and let Resume button go.
4. Press Resume button 2 times then let BOTH buttons go.
5. Green lights will flash and then stop blinking.
6. When green lights are solid, press the Resume button 4 times.
7. Press the Power button and the printer should turn off, if not, press the Power button once more.
8. Your printer should respond as normal.

Error light keeps coming on

Check chip connnector at ink tank and at head carriage. It's may be dirty. Check status monitor? what ink tank not recognized. Press ink light (1-4 times) depends on number ink tank not recognized, press 1 time again, carriage will move co replacement position, unplug and plu again all ink tank, press ink light 1 more.

The printer won't recognise the printer cartridges. I tried replacing older cartridges with new ones and even this doesn't work. They are genuine epson cartridges and the same ones I have always bought.

Check chip connnector at ink tank and at head carriage. It's may be dirty. Check status monitor? what ink tank not recognized. The ink light blinks all the time since I replaced the color

The ink light flashes when the top cover is open...check the switch that tells the printer when the cover is closed.
