I personally would download and save the driver to the computer, and then go through the new printer wizard setup and tell it where you saved the driver. The printer should then be able to install on your computer. For extra features, you will need to install the software for that model, which can be found on the driver download page.

download the drivers fro the canon website and then you can add the printer to your computer

ive try that before, there is a virus on your computer, that detects the updates of your USB port, try to scan your computer,

plz try by upgrading the printer driver

Here you can download drivers and software for mp390. Just select drivers and download tab, and select your OS (eg.Windows xp, Windows Vista etc.).
