Connecting a product that had been returned and reset to internet and wifi

I am unable to connect to my own wifi (cell com). I've entered the SID, did not put in a password. Get "remembered, not in range". My neighbors also have cell com wireless. A network, cell com, secured with WPA/WPA2 PSK, could this be their network? Why would this show up and my own be out of range? My PC indicates the connection strength as excellent..

SOURCE: apple ipod itouch connection to wireless internet

don't let the iTouch connect to the wi-fi network it detected automatically - try setting up a new wi-fi network from scratch.
the setup screens will ask for network name (the SSID) the security protocol (probably WPA-PSK if you are having all this trouble) and the password (pre shared key)

should be all you need - good luck

SOURCE: Archos 704 WPA/WEP

The WEP or WPA is the password to get onto the network. Think of the router as the doorman. The printer needs to get into the club so it needs the password otherwise it can't get access.

The WEP key and WPA passphrase are obtained from the wireless router or access point using the embedded web server on the router. See the documentation provided with your router to see how to access this information. Some routers provide more than one WEP key. Use the first WEP key if this is the case.

Verify internet connection-not connecting

reset the router by holding in the reset button for 15 to 20 seconds, then wait for all lights to return. If you have DSL wait for the dsl light to be on solid, once thats complete if your using vista and still unable to connect run "diagnose and repair". If after that your still unable to connect, open "run" type "cmd" and hit enter....the type "ipconfig" and hit enter, you should get an ip address, subnet and default gateway. one at a time type "ping" hit space bar 1 time then type the ip address in as shown in the list and hit enter, if 4 return then ping the default gateway, if it returns 4 then ping www.yahoo.com, if return 4 then remove Norton or Mcafee from your system and try again.

Wi fi adapter all of the suddenly cant connect

There are several possibilities, but without some details I can only guess what's going on. I'm going to assume the problem is on a home network and you're using a current version of Windows in hopes of sending you some quick help, but if those are bad assumptions, please send details.

You can run Windows wireless diagnostics by clicking on the icon that looks like cell phone bars at the lower right hand corner of your screen. Next choose Open Network and Sharing Center, then Troubleshoot problems. That process may solve the problem or it may make a suggestion on your next step.

You might turn off your cable or DSL modem, and then turn it on again.

If you're using a laptop, you might check to see whether there's a wireless radio switch that has been accidentally turned off.

You might restart your PC.

I'm guessing that you know the WiFi hotspot you're connecting to hasn't changed its security settings or name. However, if someone else manages the WiFi network you're connecting to, ask that person if they've made changes.

These should address the most likely culprits. If not, please send info about your computer, your network, whether you can access the Internet outside of your web browser (e.g. can you get email in Outlook), and what you've tried so far.

A wonky PC is the pits. Best wishes on quickly getting it going again.

Cannot connect to Wireless with my Linksys WRT120N Router.

If you have 2 devices not be able to connect to it suddenly, then it is probably the router that changed, as opposed to it being the 2 devices changing at the same time. Sometimes wireless routers just go bad like that.Try a factory reset, and then set the appropriate settings back to where you need them. If that doesn't help, you likely need a new one.

Carnt get my wii online

First, you have to go through the Internet connection setup process through the console and you've made no mention that you've attempted that so I wanted to make you aware of that. On the main menu, go to the lower left corner and click on the round Wii button. A new menu will appear with two options: Data Management and Wii Settings. Select Wii Settings. Go to the second page and choose Internet. Select Connection 1: None. Select Wireless Connection. Select Search For An Access Point. A network list will appear, select yours. You will then be prompted to enter the password/network key that you established when you set up your wireless router. The Wii will attempt to test the connection. If successful save your settings.

Various factors affect connecting a Wii to the internet with a WiFi connection as well, including signal strength, distance from the wireless router to the console and obstacles such as walls and ceilings that interfere with the signal. If you're using a G router and you have your Wii is too far away or, has obstacles in the way, it will not connect. You should use an N-Router if there is a significant distance between the console and the router or if there are obstacles. Here is everything you need to know about connecting your Wii to the Internet.

What kind of error? Are you trying to connect to a wifi connection encrypted with a password? If yes, you have to enter the correct password to be able to access the internet.

If the error still persists, try to reset network settings. It should fix all network related problems.
Just go to Settings > General then press Reset Network Settings
