Samsung RS2630SH Refrigerator

I bought the Samsung RS2630SH refrigerator 2 1/2 years ago. It has been making an intermittent buzzing noise off and on. It does it a few times a day and last any where from a few minutes to several. It stopped a couple of months ago and has started back.

If the motor still works, try just buying the fan blade. $2.95

I have had the same refridge since june 07'. I noticed summer of 08' the fan started "buzzing/whining".
When you remove the rear back panel of the fridge, you can remove the power cord at the clip above, then slide the fan towards you and take it out to clean and re-lubricate it. DO NOT USE WD-40! This will just gunk up the already binding motor. WD-40 should only be used where it can be wiped away, it is a cleaner not a lubricant. Use a few drops of 3-in-1 oil and hope it lasts. This is a temporary solution, Samsung went pretty cheap on this component. Good Luck.

You have the fan problem. Full the refrigerator out and open the lower back cover you will see you fan is almost become bad. If you apply WD1040 oil you can use it about 3 more months. Then It will die out. I think you better change it now or later on you refrigerator become hot and hotter. If you are careless, you can get burn you skin. I had this problem. Frist, the fan made noise on and off. I applied oil into the motor. It was working about 3 months then I died out. The front end of refrigerator become a heater.
Go to online partstore.com and buy a fan with your fan model.

Fridge freezer making a loud buzzing noise

My Samsung refrigerator (rf263aebp) was making an awful buzzing noise in the rear after only 1 year. I solved the problem by loosening the rear panel that covers the fan. Apparently, it was too tight and was rubbing on something (the fan?) and causing the noise.

It is making a buzzing noise on freezer side that stops when u open the door but starts again when u close it

On some models of refrigerators, the evaporator fan (behind an access panel at the top of the freezer) shuts off when the door is opened. This fan may be making the buzzing sound.

You should be able to check by pushing in the door switch while holding the door open. The fan should come on; and, if the buzzing resumes, you know what is making the noise. The fan may be developing a problem. If it stops running, the cold air will not be distributed properly between the freezer and refrigerator.

Noise from the right side of thr fridge

I would suspect something has come loose, like a panel screw somewhere. When the refrigerator turns on its cooling system, it may be causing the rattling, due to vibration of whatever has come loose.

Loud periodic buzzing

Are you sure this noise is not just the ice maker trying to cycle without water? If it is not turned off it will dry cycle every 15 min or so.

Samsung Side by Side Refrigerator RS2556SH - Making loud noise

Hi, had the same problem with my RS21DCNS engineer came and made a modification to drain hole (made the hole bigger!) this allows for a little more ice to form without causing the horrid noise. A new backplate was ordered as all new models have a larger hole in the backplate already. It only takes a few mins and it under guarantee if you bought less than 2 yrs ago, but you will have to empty fridge side to allow them to get to inside at the back. Good luck.
