SOURCE: we have a wind column wind chaser fan and the

Harbor Freight stores have a 'security bit' kit for about $10 that will turn about any screw fastener made. If you have no local store, look for them on-line. Hope this helps!

Cleaning gas furnance flue

Pull the hose off to the pressure switch, and measure the pressure while in a call for heat with a manometer... check the pressure switch rating & compare. Make sure you don't have any down drafts...a high wind cap might be needed. Also make sure the chimney termination is 2 foot above any pitch that is within 10 feet.

If i set the temp to low on my window air conditioner can it cause the unit to freeze up

Under some conditions, it could freeze up. High humidity levels can cause the coils to freeze. Not cleaning the air intake filter regularly, can also cause the coils to freeze. However, most window units can not be set below 65 degrees. But, in high humidity, it could freeze at that temp.

If you want to avoid the possibility of the coils freezing, operate a ceiling fan or other small fan as fast as comfortable. This keeps the cool air moving a generates a wind chill that fools your body into thinking it's cooler than it really is. Doing this will keep you from having to turn the AC way down and thus, save on energy cost.

I hope this has helped you and thanks for choosing FixYa.

Its not a problem. How do you clean this fan. There is alot of dust inside of the front grid. Is there a special way this front grid can be removed for cleaning? Thanks.

Hi,
My experience is that the best way is to use the canned air like you would clean a computer keyboard with...trying to remove the grille will result in broken tabs and then you have to tape it back on...

Hi i removed my carb 2 clean it out on my 04plate gilera runner vx125 i refitted it and it's started vibrating and been very loud every time i wind it on. Could someone help me please. Thanks

The only thing that comes to mind, as you say " is very loud when you wind it on". Check to make sure the carby is connected to the air box, air filter properly, this loud noise you are hearing is probley air intake leak. check your air filter system.
I have never heard of such problems, ' it's started vibrating and been very loud every time i wind it on.' Coming from removing and cleaning out a carby? Just look things over carefully, you will spot the problem im sure.
Good luck
