Typing problem I have Dell Inspiron 1526. It works fine but when I start typing the cursor will move to the middle of the row and start typing there or it goes to the left of the row. Another problem is that when I type typing stops suddenly and i need to stare at the monitor all the time. Please help! Thank you.

I am having the same problem with the typing. I have had nothing but problems with this laptop...it is only 6 months old. They already had someone come out and repair the broken hinge, and now the battery is not chargng when plugged in, even with the new adapter. I will never buy another dell.

How to do a master reset on a dell Inspiron 1526, but I don't have any of the discs. My computer keeps going to a page saying I have to type in my dell password. I do that and it goes to a black screen...

Step 1: Start up your computer and as the computer logo appears (such as Dell orHP) hit "Ctrl>F11" simultaneously. This may be different fordifferent machines, but the most common keys to hit are"Ctrl>F11." If this does not work, the F8 key has been said towork for certain machines.Step 2: Select "Repair My Computer" from the list of menu options thatappear and press "Enter."

I have a problem with a jumping keyboard...

This is on a laptop? I use to have the same thing happen to me, couldn't figure out what it was until I paid close attention to what I was doing. When i was typing the bottom part of my palms use to just touch the touch pad moving the cursor. Watch yourself see if that's what's happening. The best way to test this would be to disable your touchpad while your typing and see if it happens. If it doesn't, enable your touchpad again. If it starts happening again i would said that's what it is. Hopefully that'll take care of it for you.
