1) Lube the deck belt, this happen because the electronic system protect the system and shut down.the cause is deck worn.
2) Lube the rollers bearing too.

SOURCE: Nordic Track Treadmill will not run

If console lights up but doesnt respond when buttons are pressed, you more than likely have a console problem. Key pad issue would be my best guess.

SOURCE: Treadmill Incline Works, belt does not move

Check the drive belt. It may be loose or broken. If the belt is loose, then to tighten the drive belt, start by removing the front cover. loosen the bolts around the motor then tighten the drive belt by tightening the motor adjuster bolt. Once the drive belt is tight, tighten the motor back down.

SOURCE: need manual for nordic track walk fit 5000 1995

I can't help with the manual. But, if you reach under the area where the readout is, push up on the cord or any of the opening underneath the display will pop out. You should be able to find the battery compartment. The unit uses 2 AA batteries. If you find a manual, let me know.

Thanks.

SOURCE: our belt is slipping on our nordic track c1900

I have the same unit. First, remove the hood. Then, the motor has an adjustment screw on the belt side of the motor. Loosen the nut a little, adjust the motor up or down to make the belt as tight as you can by hand, then re-tighten the nut. This always fixes mine.

Nordic Track T12 si , belt won't run

If the belt on your Nordic Track T12 si treadmill is not running even though the display and other functions appear to be working, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
  1. Check the safety key: Ensure that the safety key is properly inserted into the console. The treadmill will not operate if the safety key is not securely in place.
  2. Reset the treadmill: Turn off the treadmill and unplug it from the power source. Wait for a few minutes, then plug it back in and turn it on. This can help reset the treadmill's internal systems and may resolve any temporary issues.
  3. Calibrate the incline: If you recently used the incline function, it's possible that the calibration of the incline mechanism is off. Consult the user manual for instructions on how to calibrate the incline. This process may vary depending on the specific model of your treadmill.
  4. Check the motor and drive belt: Inspect the motor and drive belt for any signs of damage or wear. If the drive belt is loose or worn out, it may prevent the belt from moving properly. If necessary, consult the user manual or contact Nordic Track customer support for guidance on inspecting and adjusting the motor and drive belt.
  5. Lubricate the belt: Insufficient lubrication can cause the belt to stick or not move smoothly. Refer to the user manual for instructions on how to properly lubricate the treadmill belt. Use a silicone-based lubricant recommended by the manufacturer.
  6. Contact customer support: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, it is advisable to reach out to Nordic Track's customer support. Provide them with detailed information about the problem and any troubleshooting steps you have already taken. They will be able to offer further assistance, including potential repair options or guidance from a technician.

3 days old and when I push any of the buttons that are supposed to cause belt to start moving or to change incline there in no response, though the electronic display starts counting the seconds as if it...

The single most cause of no motor output is failure of the DC motor control Look for any test lights on the power boards beneath the motor shroud use caution when removing the motor hood because you may still have electricity in the motor area even if the treadmill is unplugged.
One of the lights should be labeled PWM when hitting the start button that will start flickering , because the upper console is sending a signal to the lower board telling it to start the motor. if that process happens then you need to check the motor
Cordless drill battery- get a fully-charged, 18 volt (preferred) cordless drill battery and on most treadmills connect the red and black motor leads to the battery (some have different colors but if you have two wires and get it hooked up backwards, the motor will just run backwards and won’t be harmed). If good, the motor should operate at about 1 MPH.
Car battery- these are 12VDC high amp batteries so the motor will turn slowly but you can walk on the belt. Always be careful with battery acid on these things so we don’t recommend bringing them in the house…take the treadmill to the battery. If does move then the controller board needs to be replace.

Belt on nordic track exp 1000 not moving today but worked this week. machine turns on though

if you hear the motor moving with no belt turning the problem is either the front roller or the drive belt. If there is no motor movement then this is usually an indication of a bad control board located under the lower section of the treadmill.
