The treadmill turns on and begins to count the seconds but the belt won't move. This has happened before and after a few days it starts up again but I am training for a half marathon and can't wait! I have the Nordic Track X5 incline trainer
1) Lube the deck belt, this happen because the electronic system protect the system and shut down.the cause is deck worn.
2) Lube the rollers bearing too.
3) Measure the input voltage motor, if there are the motor need repair.
4) Measure the output voltage board, for input voltage motor, if there are Not the board is faulty.
God bless you

If console lights up but doesnt respond when buttons are pressed, you more than likely have a console problem. Key pad issue would be my best guess.

Check the drive belt. It may be loose or broken. If the belt is loose, then to tighten the drive belt, start by removing the front cover. loosen the bolts around the motor then tighten the drive belt by tightening the motor adjuster bolt. Once the drive belt is tight, tighten the motor back down.

I can't help with the manual. But, if you reach under the area where the readout is, push up on the cord or any of the opening underneath the display will pop out. You should be able to find the battery compartment. The unit uses 2 AA batteries. If you find a manual, let me know.
Thanks.

my nordictrack exp1000x doesn't elevate anymore, what can be the problem and how can i fix it?
SOURCE: our belt is slipping on our nordic track c1900
I have the same unit. First, remove the hood. Then, the motor has an adjustment screw on the belt side of the motor. Loosen the nut a little, adjust the motor up or down to make the belt as tight as you can by hand, then re-tighten the nut. This always fixes mine.
