Change used com port Mio M400

How can I change the COM-Port which Mio M400 Navman Software uses? Change of parameter in Settings-INI does not work, changes in Registry do not work too. Background: Try to use a separte virtual COM-manager and an additional software which activates itself when GPS is used, but it does not detect the Navman-program using the port. So only one of the applications run...

SOURCE: navman pin 570 navigation not working screen says gps port closed

tap on "GPS Status" (second page of GPS software) and be sure that the box is checked in the upper left hand corner. In the same screen, be sure com 8 and 9600 (baud rate) is shown.

Try Start Settings System GPS and tap ON before starting the satnav program. Not all programs automatically switch on the GPS. On hitting ON yellow light top left starts flashing. Now start your satnav program..

Try this: 1. Connect your device to the computer 2. Make a backup of your addresses and favorites if you wish 3. In File Explorer, right click on the device (removable drive) >> Format 4. Start the Desktop 5. Go to My Mio >> Reinstall the software 6. Go to My Mio >> Recover Keys 7. You can now reinstall the maps from the Maps tab. If you downloaded a map update, make sure to use the downloaded file. 8. Go to My Mio / Voice Transfer and re-install the voice files
