XH8 2000 Offside brake light permanently on, told it needs a new Solid state electronic box for that corner of the car. But Jaguar say they cannot supply one without a number from a sticker, which should be on the inside rear of the boot. Car had a minor accident 2 years ago, the back was resprayed and there is no sticker. Very shocked by Jaguars attitude that without this number I will virtually have to scrap the car, they cannot help.
Typical Jaguar Dealership attitude. You didn't have them repair the collision damage, and they are punishing you.

You have answered your own question ... go to the breaker (we call them Junk Yards in the colonies) get the door. No, the Junk Yard will not paint the door to match your car. Get the paint at a Auto Parts store.
