Motorola Karma when I slide to access the keypad, my screen fades out. How can I fix this?

Every time I slide the phone to access the keypad, the screen fades out. I need the keypad to enter my password, otherwise I could deal with just using the buttons. Please help as I have some important information on it from a person who passed away last week.

Motorola karma. Only the red key works, none of the others is recognized. Took battery out, no help

Hi, most problem caused by keypad not functioning, is always water issues.

Unscrew the phone and clean up the keypad area. And your done.
After cleaning up the keypad,if it does not work, means that the problem is from the board of the phone.

There is an IC inside the phone that controls keypad function, when IC gets damaged, keypads will not function until it's replace. You will need to contact a skillfully personnel for help.

Thanks.

What is satellite icon on motorola karma

It irepresents the GPS function. It is always visible on the screen to let the user aware that the phone has GPS capability. It is in gray when the GPS is not in use. If a GPS Application (e.g. AT&T Navigator) is launched, the icon flashes and changes its colors. E.g. it will show in green whenever it is fixed to satellites.
Cheers! Carlos

My unlock button on my keypad wont unlock

Since the Karma is a relatively new device it should be covered under warranty. AT&T Warranty # 1-800-801-1101. If for whatever reason it is not covered (has liquid damage or physical damage) we offer repair solutions for malfunctioning cell phones. A repair for that problem typically cost between $20-$60.
