Hi,

this could be several things.
1:) the console does not recognise or support the format, in which the cds are being ripped in. i.e WAV/Mpeg3/Avi et,c.
2:) The disk is not being Finalized ( session ended Table-Of-Contents not Written )
3:) The console does not like the type of media/cd/dvd you are using.

thankyou for using Fixya.

Mike @ compurepair.

How do i put songs on my xbox

Follow these steps :
1.
Burn CDs. The easiest way to put music on your Xbox 360 is to rip CDs from your own collection. Simply insert your favorite CD in you Xbox 360 and then pull up the secondary menu with the Xbox logo button. Then select "Rip CD" from the menu to transfer the tracks from the CD to your Xbox hard drive.
2.
Sync your computer with your Xbox 360. If you have Windows XP Media Edition or Windows Vista (any edition) and a wireless connection your computer will be able to detect your Xbox 360 and can share media with it. Simply find the "Windows Media Extension" tool on your PC and follow the prompts to stream video to your Xbox 360.

You cannot copy a CD song to a MP3 player, it does not recognize the CD file format only MP3 file format.
You can convert your CDs into MP3 files can copy them to your MP3 player. There are freeware programs on the Internet that convert CD songs to MP3 format, the CD song is rip/converted to MP3 file.
Microsoft Media Player can also rip CD songs into MP3 files as well as playing MP3 files/songs.

you can always try streaming the music from your pc to the xbox, look on the link above for more info

I think the problem you are having may be protected content,
songs that have embedded content protection may not transfer to the Xbox 360.

Sorry I cannot be of anymore assistance

"No Song" displayed even though music has been loaded, many times

The songs ripped from CD are not in the right format. In Windows Media Player, highlight the Rip tab, click the black arrow under the Rip tab, select Rip Options --> Format --> Mp3. Now, re-rip the songs. Before you transfer these tracks to the player, make sure you delete the tracks that are on the mp3 player now, or else Windows Media Player wil ltell you that the tracks are already there. Now, transfer the newly-ripped Mp3 tracks to your Sansa. Should be good to go.

Burning a CD

The best way to do it would be to record or rip the record into a media player program.  Create a playlist using the songs then burn the songs to cd.

Won't play songs

If you used Windows Media Player to copy the Cd's to your PC the default setting is to "copy protect my music". To change that go to Windows Media Player>Tools>Options>Rip Music and uncheck the "copy protect my music" box. You will need to delete the previously ripped music from your device. Then re-rip the Cd's and transfer them to your device. Best of Luck.
