On my vci-100 my one touch sensor level knob broke off and now my jog wheel is stuck with the red light on. Is there anything i can do?

Take it in for repair... this is NOT a DIY project.

There probably is a conflict with the camera hardware and or driver. Your best help may be on those Vestax forums. You could try removing the camera drivers in the Sony... but it may be a hardware conflict that may have no solution.

My Typhoon makes this supe rloud buzzing sound and sounds like a fuse going of it's so loud, it completelly almost drowns out the music and whenever i try playing it through my computer speakers,...

Definately sounds like a manufacturing issue, Contact the manufacturer and get a free new one, unless you dropped it or something and it's your fault.

I just installed my vestax typhoon and the drivers. everything seems to be running fine but i can only listen through the headphones plugged into the controller. no sound comes through my laptop speakers....

Make sure the Windows computer has the audio output selected to use the computers output hardware.

In the control panel, under "sounds and devices" pane, VOICE tab, that the Voice playback window shows your COMPUTER's audio system AND then check the volume is turned up by clicking the Volume button right under that same window. Now do the same under the AUDIO tab at the sounds and devices pane.

Make sure you have loaded the right driver for this and the operating system is allowed. Vista and later sometimes won't work unless you have compatible drivers.

On the VCI-100, My left jog wheel is slow/sticky. is there any way to adjust it? It also causes the tracks to slow down or go backwards on it's own?

I suspect this uses an optical pickup. You need to open the unit and look at the sensor. If it is an optical pickup, then use the canned air pressure to clean the area of dust.

If it happens to be a mechanical switch, then the mechanical encoder has to be replaced.

Jog wheel is blocked and hard to spin

Hey, the vci 100 out of the box has the problem of sticky jog wheels, Im not sure how long you have had the interface, but mine took a bit of use to start spinning freely. These jog wheels are definately the weekest link and degrade rapidly, the case is easy to remove there are about 8 screws including one one front and rear edge, you will notice the grafite lubricant used on the jog wheel mechanisim, a fine grade grafite would not go astray when maintaining this moving part

Look at the back of your deck there shold be two little nobs that say touch sensor level turn it down to min or at least dont have them all the way up
