Right & left click buttons not working

The right and left click buttons on my Toshiba Satellite A105-S361 do not work, the touch pad and keyboard work fine. The same is true when I plug in a hard-wired mouse. The cursor moves, but the buttons don't function. Some of the icons still "jump out" when the cursor is on them

Distorted, scratchy sound with Toshiba Satellite

OK, I would restore or recover the computer to manufacturer's original specifications and automatic update to the latest sp3.

Then, I would reinstall your virus protection and see if it's better.

My laptop's (Toshiba Satellite A105-S361)desktop doesn't bring the desktop icons and the task bar after I loaded AVG 9 antivirus software. Why is that? Would you mind give me a solution, pls?

The desktop icons and the task bar would generally dissappear if you have a virus on the PC. However, sometimes improper software installations may cause undesired results like we have right now. Instead of trying uninstalling anything, try restoring the system to a previous point using system restore.

That's a sign that the synaptic touch pad needs to be replaced. Eventually they wear out.
