Firstly, try "re-setting" the Z5 (ie micro switch) first. If this doesn't resolve, then firstly save a backup of all your files...then use the 'format' function (ie open My Computer, then open the YP-Z5 folder, then look for the Format function), which will clean out your entire memory, including hidden files. Then download the latest firmware update from Samsung website (download centre/mp3) and save newest firmware onto your Z5. Always update your Z5 with latest firmware (appropriate with your Windows OS). Good luck.

My nano 2gb only holds 185songs nd then says its full. wats wrong?

This all depends on the size and quality of the files you are putting on to the player. What formats are the songs in? Are they high quality songs (E.g. 320 Kbps?). The most important thing to look at is the size of the MP3 files or music files that you are putting onto the player. 2gb can hold a fair amount of songs, but for a better idea check here: http://www.beatsuite.com/page/96/
Also, ensure that you dont have any video files on the player, as these take up LARGE amounts of room.

My swimp3 holds up to 50 songs but at the moment i only have 29 on it. i want to put more songs into the player but every time i try and put a song in it, it tells me that there isn't enough free space. i...

this might be due to the large size of your files, if you have avg song length of 4 mins andsize around 5MB it will accomodate around 25 songs...

Am unable delete song...they do not show up on my computer either

I have a dffierent mp3 player Colby with a usb and I had the same problem. Try deleting the songs from the device itself. If you go into folder view if you havet hat option and choose the song it says to play or delet, at least that is what mine says. It may take awhile to do it one song at a time, but you should have the option of deleting the songs from the actual mp3 player.

I also had minenot show up, mine was do to deleting some of the software off of the player to make more room for songs. I never used podcasts and other files that came on it, so after I deleted them my songs stopped showing up. I just copy the songs to my mp3 player now, and delete them one by one. Hope this helps you.

Can't download more than 14 songs

since the songs are older, they may not be compressed enough and will take up more room. or, if you have something else (pics, vids etc) on there it will take up tons of room

I cant put music on my mp3 i cant even see the songs on there

ok this is a pretty simple fix.... first are the files either mp3 or wav? if yes ...good.... if not then you need to convert them .... second, when you plug it into the computer look in the pop up for a "veiw the files"type thing and see if the are there. and then look to the right of the song and see what format they are in. remember mp3. dont use wav files cause they are large and take up HUGE amounts of room. you can drag and drop to this location for songs if they are mp3's if not ust the supplyed converter(its on the disc) and add and convert there.

Gpx mw3836 mp3 player

Have you tried to reformat the MP3. it is easy to do. conect your MP3 co to my computer and find which drive your MP3 is located on. Mine is located on drive G when I conect it to the computer. Then use your mouse click on the right side and the menu will come up. Go down to format and allow it to do so it does not take but a few seconds and your MP3 is clean.
