Replacement toner cartridge not accepted

I repalced the toner cartirdge with a new one and the machine will not reset, it keeps giving me the same request for a new cartridge.

Just take the whole assembly out of the printer, disassemble the toner and drum, assemble it and put it back in to the printer until you hear a stable CLICK. After that try it again, it should work. It's just a software bug. Affordable Brother TN350 Toner Cartridge

When you replaced the drum did you reset the counter as per the instruction sheet with the new one? I think from memory you hold the OPTION button with the door open. This gives the option of resetting the count in the display.

Good luck these are usually very reliable.

  • This product can be configured to use a metered or non-metered Toner / Print Cartridge. A non-metered machine requires a non-metered cartridge be installed to operate, while a metered machine can accept both a metered or non-metered cartridge to operate.
  • Make sure the correct cartridge is used for the machine. If you are receiving metered print cartridges but the machine will not accept them, contact your reseller or supplier to ensure that your machine is properly set up as a metered machine, and that the metered PIN has been entered

  • Make sure you don´t have any stickers on the toner box.
  • If you sure all paper and stickers are out then reset the nvm values from the device in order to reset the printer information.

This machine ran out of toner today, but didn't give a local notification that it was low. I have tried to find the setting to enable this notification via the printer's web page, but am unable to find it....

HP toner cartridges for this printer have an embedded chip built into the cartridge that prompts "Low Toner" message locally and will broadcast through its WEB server. Non HP Toner Cartridges or Refilled HP Toner Cartridges will no longer have the chip enabled to generate this message. You can continue to print but the toner level status will not be generated.
Solutions; Purchase new HP Toner cartridge's from reliable source.
Try a third party replacement chip"

Ink cartridge is not accepted

You have refilled the toner, So When you refill the toner, u must repalce chip also.

MFC-7840w keeps saying "toner life end"

After I figured this out, it was quite easy to resolve. Remove the toner cartridge from the drum cartridge. Remove the black plastic cover on the left side of the toner cartridge (3 Phillips screws). There is a "flag", which is a small plastic tab on the outer side set to the right at about 2 o'clock. Turn the gears until you fully reset the tab going counterclockwise to the 10 o'clock position (fully to the left). Reinstall the small black cover and the three phillips screws. And the idea to install black electrical tape over the small clear plastic windows on both sides is also a good idea to prevent the early and false message that the cartridge is empty. Make sure you do not allow that tape to get into the gears.

Samsung CLP 300 won't print

a few seconds after turned on?
after a half hour ?

in the first case it indicates a problem most likely with the fuser.
in the second case it might be on a timer.

Brother Printer won't accept mostly full toner cartridge

On the side of the cartridge (TN2000) there is a white reset flag, this need to set to twevle 'o' clock, thats towards the black roller. If that hasn't been reset the cartridge will register as low.

TONER CARTRIDGE

Follow these steps (per Samsung Support) to reset cartirdge error:

Press Menu, #, 1934
Screen will read: Ready, Tech Mode
Press Menu until you see Data Setup
Arrow through till you see New Cartridge, enter yes and hit OK or enter

Now re-enter Menu, #, 1934 to get back to Regular Mode

Toner Empty message should be gone!
