Having problems with the keyboard on my htc chacha, when i press any of the buttons down the right hand side i get a 'P' come up on the screen or it send blank messages.

Obviously one of your applications that you installed is the problem. Your best bet is to try to hard reset or reflash your device.
To do a hard reset:

1. From the Today screen, press the left soft key to choose Start.
   
2. Select System Tools then press the center of the 5-way navigation pad.
   
3. Select Clear Storage then press the center of the 5-way navigation pad.
   
4. Select Factory Default. Enter 1234 then press the left soft key to choose YES.

Open up your video camera. Change the settings so that it is set for MMS. It will decrease the resolution so that it is able to send. Good luck!
