You really don't need the lights your comp will work 100% the same way, but if there is only two spots missing then you plug them in there, it is usually the white wire on the left, and the green wire on the right with the words "power led" facing up towards the power supply

The correct wiring plan for this computer is as follows:

Pwr Led Pwr Sw N/C

X X X X O

HDD Rst N/C

Note : N/C = no connection, top row has no pin, bottom row has a pin but not connected.

when you plug in the Pwr Led and HDD connectors, a light should come on, if it doesn't , turn off the pc and turn the connector round on the pins, re -power on your pc.

It keeps saying shut outer door ?

I had this problem a couple of years ago and Dyson informed me how to clear the fault i.e. switch off, hold the temperature button while pushing the start button then push soil button within 5 seconds. This worked for me but recently when the problem recurred the Dyson solution failed to restore the machine to operational condition. From reading other contributions to Dyson washing machine sites I learned how to remove the front panel and how to access the door lock microswitch system. Using this information I accessed the doorlock actuator behind and attached to the panel and realised that a very complicated arrangement could be modified very easily. The cable leading from the base of the machine to the actuator contains 5 individual wires leading to a connector. Split this connector and gain access to one brown and one yellow wire, ignore the other 3 wires. Make a bridge to connect the incoming brown and yellow feeds thus bypassing the actuator and reassemble the front panel etc. As an 86 year old I lacked the strength to refit the outer door so I now operate my machine with a superfluous front door dumped in a corner.

Keeps tripping electric as soon as is turned on

Remove the lower rear panel of washer, and unplug the motor lead, then try again, if it still trips out, then disconnect the leads from the heater element, try again, if it still trips, then I would suggest you call someone in to check it.

I have no power to my controls. I have power at the outlet, but the washer will not turn on.

Test on button for resistance w/ a multimeter
with button held down it should read 0 you'll need to disconnect wires to the button first and touch one lead to on side of button and the other lead to the other side of the button. If it doesn't read 0 replace on button.

I am trying to do this from memory as I don't have that model in front of me. turn the printer on. then while the printer is on unplug the power lead (don't turn the printer off first)
hold the OK and cancel buttons and plug the power supply back in. keep holding the buttons until the printer powers off. release the buttons, unplug the power lead and after 10 seconds replug in the lead and and switch the printer on.
this is an NVM reset whcih should clear any "hangs" in the printer.
Let me know!
