Is there a way to switch off one or two of the microphones?
This concerns the Polyspan Sountstation NonEx.
Is there a way to switch off one or two of the microphones individually and leave just one on?
I removed the cover but, as far as I can tell, the only way to switch off one or two of the microphones is to cut their electric wire and I'd rather didn't do that.
There's also a small dip switch unit inside with three switches, does anybody know what they're for?

on most programs you should be able to go back into the settings or preferences and re enable or allow them to use certain computer resources such as microphone or webcam.
try going to the file in the top left or into a settings menu and looking for anything mentioning the microphone or sound.
any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me at my website country tech repairs
I would recommend finding a shop that has a tool called "Chassis Ears". It is a tool that has about six microphones that are clamped to suspect parts. Once the tech mounts the microphones, he verifies the customers concern by taking the vehicle on a test drive at the described speed. He will switch between each microphone until the sound that is being described is found. This is the best way to diagnose noise and vibration issues. Wheel bearings do not make noise at one particular speed. Wheel bearing noise typically follows vehicle speed.
Loosen the top assembly of the mic and see if problem is solved. If not , try to pull out the electronics board now connect the battery and activate the switch. If everything is alright your problem is caused by tight plastic enclosure which does'nt allow free movement of the on and off switch.
HI. The mic volume cannot be adjusted;Only the speaker volume can be adjusted on this model. With that said; I would advise to be sure that you have switched on the microphone. Also; Make sure that the phone is close enough to your mouth. The microphone is located at the bottom of the phone. This is all you can do, concerning the mic performance.Unfortunately; It is not adjustable at all.
Hi im joe, Regarding your concern the ET 3000 magic sing does not have background vocals at all. The manufacturer design the magic sing for sing along purposes only but they are now improving there future products to have that feature with background vocals.
My Polycom sound station power unit malfunction. I found that AC transformer broke.
If I try to get substitute transformer, what is the required ac output
(Vac) and Amp that I need to find?
Your concern is no transmit and no red transmit led -
If there is no receive likewise, then probably problem in the PLL/VCO section or 9V voltage regulator TR23 (2SC1096) or Zener diode D22 (9.1V).
If the receive is normal, then possibly any of two (2) faults: 1. microphone/PTT switch and/or the mic cable specifically the wire connected to pin# 3 of the connector; or 2. +8V switching transistor TR21 (2SA733P).
Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.
