Dishwasher will not start

The lock button activates/deactivates the Keylock or the Childlock functions. This button has either a key or a padlock icon. I believe that on this model it is a padlock

Keylock

The Keylock feature disables all the buttons on the control panel.

To activate, press and hold the button until you hear one beep (3 seconds). The symbol

appears in the electronic display when the Keylock feature is activated.

Childlock

The Childlock feature locks the drawer and disables all the buttons on the control panel.

To activate, press and hold the button until you hear two beeps (5 seconds). The symbol

appears in the electronic display when the Childlock feature is activated.

To cancel the Childlock feature, press and hold the button until you hear one beep and the
symbol disappears from the electronic display.

If this doesn't work... And I've seen these units do some odd things. Try unplugging it for about an hour (if plug is not under sink you can turn of the breaker that powers the unit). Then plug it back in and see if that works. These dishwasher like many modern day appliances have solid state microprocessors in them which sometimes need reset just like a computer.

1. Turn the modem on. Wait until the modem has stopped booting up and the power light goes solid green.
2. Insert a small tipped object (pen tip or a pin will do) into the hole at the bottom of the modem labelled 'reset'. You may need to hold this in for a couple of seconds before the reset is initiated. You will know when to let go of the reset hole when the power light starts blinking red/green. Remove the small tipped object. All the lights on the front on the modem should flash green and then red then the modem should start to boot as per normal.
3. Once the power light is on solid the modem should be restored to factory defaults.

The default admin username is "admin" and defult password is "admin"

press the heated button for 3seconds

sounds like its the p c control . it will need to be replaced . less expensive than most. ( inside the contrl panel is a tec sheet and it will tell you what the flashing is caused from ..ck the beeping for a code like dot dot --pause or 3 dots and a pause . this control has codes .. mm

I have an FDB1502RGB0 model but had the same problem. I reset the circuit breaker and its working fine now. I'm not sure what caused the problem but it seems to be fine now.

Have a look underneath dishwasher by removing front bottom access panel, the one touching the floor. Look for a round plastic disc about size of 4 jam lids together, centre front of dishwasher. Inside of it is a foam disc that will float up off the base of the dishwasher if water causes it to do so. This floating up will trip a switch. Clean base of dishwasher of water and maybe test the switch with multimeter. Reset fault by holding down start button.

Try the "End of Cycle" button to the right of panel front, next to Start button. Mine says hold for three seconds to lock/ unlock control.

Pushing and holding the 'Heated Dry' button should turn off the light over the padlock symbol and get you going again.
