Hi my laptop is not playing any sounds it says no audio output divice is installed can you help

Go here and choose an audio driver for your system. http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/ussoho1 I believe the top one of the two "audio" choices is the right one for your laptop...Download it and install it. That should fix the issue you are having. let me know hope this helps you!

Generally when sound driver is not install this typr of message comes.

Go to Control Pannel Double Click ON Sound And Audio Device Go to sound Tab Check the sound playing or not. if not the install the Sound Driver

If you believe that your unit has a sound card, then you simply install the drivers for the sound card. Otherwise you need to install a sound card.

Go to device manager and look for sound card

check the device manager and make sure the the audio device is detected. you need to know who the manufacturer of the sound card so you can download the driver and install it.

go to .......my pc>> properties >>hardware>> device manager >> sounds
See if the sound drivers are installed to your pc.

Go also start >> control panel >> Sounds
See if the audio is available

Ok the problem is this......

Obviously you have a soundcard installed on your computer , but your computer does not recognize it....what you need is the "driver" for your sound card. The driver is the software that allows your computer to recognize and communicate with the hardware (your soundcard in this case).
