SOURCE: Headphones has red light

Hello, I believe I just figured out the solution to this problem. I was experiencing the same thing, and as I was just showing my friend the problem I noticed that the green light came on after I turned on the music on my computer.

So, after removing the headphones from the base, the green light will come on only if there is sound playing from the computer (It takes a few seconds to turn on). It seems like they should have mentioned this somewhere in the manual...

SOURCE: the operating instructions say that after 16 hours

I have the MDR-RF970R but I bet the battery is the same. If you have had the headphone for seceral years then I bet you are right, the battery is going. You might try using them till the battery dies and then recharge. This is called deep cycle and may time it will extend the life of rechargables.

If the headphones are new, then just check and make sure that they going all the way into the charge slot.

I will say it is not common for me to see the light off, but I use the headphones all the time.

Good luck.

When im charging my headphone the light is red and then turns blue but when i unplug them and turn them on it flashes and turns off

This behavior can indicate an issue with the battery of your headphones, as it may not be able to hold a charge or may have other internal problems. It's also possible that there's a software issue or a problem with the connection between the battery and the headphones' components. Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
  1. Check the charging cable: Make sure the charging cable is in good condition and properly connected to the headphones and the charging source.
  2. Clean the charging port: Dust and debris can accumulate in the charging port, which can prevent a proper connection. Use a soft-bristled brush or a toothpick to gently clean the port.
  3. Try a different charging source: If the issue persists, try using a different charging cable or a different wall adapter to see if the issue is with the charging source.
  4. Reset the headphones: If the previous steps didn't solve the issue, try resetting the headphones by removing the battery or holding down the power button for 10-15 seconds.
If none of these steps work, the issue may be with the battery or the headphones' components, and you may need to contact the manufacturer for repair or replacement.

What dose it mean when my iLive wireless headphones blinking red when I charge them?

Blinking red light indicates that the battery can't be charged. Problem might be a worn out battery, or simply a bad connexion. First check with another charging cable and if unsuccessful then with another power adaptor. Problem could also be the plug in your headphones (this can usually be fixed in a good repair shop for 15~20$).

Hope this help

Hi. I just purchased the insignia digital wireless headphones for my boyfriend and the headphones won't charge properly. It says to put the on the dock station and the red light will stay on(up to 4 hours)...

If the red light is on for such a short period of time, it probably means that the headphones are charged. The red light will flash for a long time and then turn green only when you charge on the dock headphones that need charging. I suggest to try to use them without charging them and see if the headphones work.

Why does my kinivo bth220 headphones have a flashing red light on them no matter how long i charge them and they will not turn on

The batteries won't charge. You might want to google around for replacement batteries.

First I'd try a factory reset. PRess the +, - and multifunction button for 6 seconds until the blue light flashes and it shuts off. When you turn them on next, it's in pairing mode and try again.

My pocket book, touchscreen edition has been frozen on the same page for a week! it is not charging, no red light and not recognised by my pc...................why?

Hi fidelia6,

This happens when the reader is missing charge, you can try this:

1. Hit the reset button at the bottom of the reader for 5 seconds
2. Connect the reader to the PC and check if the redlight comes on at the top, if not try the reset while connected
3. Leave the reader charging for 15-20 minutes
4. Disconnect the reader and see if full operational now

Using an opticon (hearing aid bluetooth transmitter) Can't get the Sonys to pair. is there software to re-configure password etc.?

You could try the bluetooth generic passwords (0000 and 1234), these usually work with most devices.

I have HDR65/RS65 Sennheiser wireless headphones. I disconnected them to move stuff around, then re-connected them. Now all I get is a 2 second cycle consisting of: 1 second of static that builds in...

Try connecting them to an MP3 player or connect wired headphones to the same source to make sure the sound source is working correctly. If that works, verify the voltage on the batteries is 2.4 volts after charging. Mine stopped charging fully and the headphones wouldn't work at all, but when I connected a couple of AAA batteries to it in series, it worked great.

900MHZ CHARGING LIGHT STAYS RED AND DOES NOT GO OFF

Didyou try taking the battery out of the headphone and replacing it? This may act as a reset and allow charging. I'm assuming that these headphones are not brand new, and that you are lining up the arrow on the one side with the arrow on the charging base. This is the only way the inductive charging can occur. Good luck!
